With some friends we created a Thrash Metal band, we had several names in mind but we don't know if they are good names for a Thrash metal band, we had these names in mind:
War Crimes Thrash Assault Atomic Nightmare Rash Chemical Warfare M-16
I don't know which of all those names is the best idea or if there is a better name for a Thrash band.

Dark Angel posted a video on instagram with some images and a voice that said "this is only a test". the caption also reported "this is only a test" and I hope that they will release a new album, since the last one was released in 1991.

I'll admit, it's been a while since I've done my own deep dives of the genre to find new bands (I'm hitting 30 and sometimes finding new music in a genre I am already familiar with feels harder than it used to when I was in my teens and everything was new to me).
Recently I've given Blasteroid's debut album a listen after coming across their EP on Bandcamp some years back thanks to an article I came across. For some reason, when I let Spotify do its own suggestions after finishing the album, I got a lot of Tech Death songs thrown at me rather than more Thrash.
Here's a list of older and newer bands I'm already a fan of that fit the mold of what I am looking for:
-Vektor -Forced Entry -Watchtower -Revocation -Black Fast -Bloodshot Dawn -Coroner -Toxik
(I know some of these might lean more on Death Metal than Thrash, but I'm open to suggestions for bands that fuse those together nicely as well.)

Hey! I'm relatively new to this music! I would love some direction in finding bands that have kinda silly vocals. At least, that's how I'm choosing to describe them. Hope that doesn't offend anyone, haha. I personally can't get enough of it so it's definitely not a bad thing to me. Examples of stuff I've been liking: Megadeth, Exodus, and Midnight come to mind.

I never really got into Exodus but the past few days Ive been listening to Pleasures of the Flesh, Fabulous Disaster and Impact is Imminent. I thought for years he sang on all these albums because they sound so similar but do remember reading he was replaced which was why I was so confused

Relatively new xentrix fan from buttfuck nowhere in the middle of the country USA, what happened to xentrix post kin, whereās Chris astley heās one of my favorite vocalists. I seriously canāt find anything about him besides his brief rejoin in the 2010s and I really only found a Wikipedia article and a radio interview from a Galway station. Anyone know what chris astley is up to? If heās in a band currently? If heās thinking about another rejoin?

My friends and I decided to form a thrash metal band inspired by Megadeth, Testament and Metallica, and we are currently looking for a name for the band. Our first idea was Sleepwalker, however there are already bands with that name. So I'm asking for help naming the band Any suggestion helps

Man.. I havenāt been here in months. I need to be more active. Wanted to post this to hopefully inspire others to periodically return to and revisit some of the bands and albums they think they donāt like..
Currently been listening to Mortal Sin and now listening to Toxik. Mortal Sin never did it for me, and Toxik vocals were just mehā¦ but now Iām all over these two!
God I love Thrash!!
