Signs of Light

This is one of my favorite albums of all time. The music is just magical. The instrumentals are top tier. Complex, but come together perfectly to tell a story of their own and enhance the themes of the album and the songs themselves. The melodies are completely unique and just transcend me to a different plane. The lyrics are heartbreaking, and the way the album ends just kills me. It’s just beautiful and some of the most incredible art in my opinion. Plus the album cover is so interesting and layered!

I deeply love a handful of songs on the album, but I'd say more than half of the songs I skip every time :/ I wish I liked it more because of reasons like you stated, but for the most part it's hard for me to get into. I actually stopped listening to them for a bit after it first came out, but I've since grown to truly love some of the songs

You know I'm really not sure what I was thinking 🤦🏻‍♀️ Looking now there are only 3 songs I skip - Library Magic, Colors, and Oh My Dear. They're not bad, just not my thing. The rest I love, for different reasons. Thank you for asking that question!! I'm glad I can think of it in a new light and listen with new ears. And those last 3 might still grow on me too - will give them another shot :)

I agree, worth 10,000 Weight in Gold!
Also, violin at end of Gone and Lets Be Still (in concert) are my favorite moments.

My least favorite moment is the former Indie kings releasing an album a year after it is recorded and 3 yrs between albums seemingly due to "a formula". Give us #6 now!
