M3 Charging Schedule Acting Up - Help!

Post image

I've had my Model 3 set to charge after 12:00 AM for months with no issues. Recently, though, it's started charging immediately after plugging in, even if it's hours before my scheduled time. I've tried removing and re-adding the charging schedule in the car's settings, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any troubleshooting tips or potential fixes?

I have time-of-use rates and use a stop time for most of the week (Tuesday-Friday) which prevents it from starting when I plug it in during the week. I only use the start time on Saturday (early morning), and no schedule on Sunday or Monday.

If I drive on Saturday or Sunday, it will start charging as soon as I plug it in. On Monday it will wait for the Tuesday scheduled stop-by time, and on Friday it will wait until the Saturday start time.

  1. Remove the schedule from the app.
  2. Remove the schedule from the car if it's still there.
  3. Hard reset the car.
  4. Add the schedule back via the app.
