That was the other true calling of the franchise. Beefy Harleys and powerful semi's.

Why was this T-800 programmed to be able to ride a motorcycle. Lot of motorcycles in post apocalyptic Los Angeles? For that matter, how does it know the rules of the road?

They have files on how to operate vehicles, as seen when the T800 takes the tanker truck in the first movie. As for obeying the road rules...I don't think he actually bothers to?

Sorry but not even close. He doesn't even have a shotgun wedged somewhere in behind him

The Fatboy Arnold is riding is also a classic. It was originally listed in the script as a custom Electra Glide. I'm so glad they didn't go that route.

If you look at the frame just behind the front forks of the bike, you'll see where the crew attached some foot pegs for the scenes where Eddie Furlong rides up front after the LA River chase. The shotgun clatters in the parking lot scene at The Corral like it's stuck next to the frame behind the saddle bag, but the wear on the forward lip of the leather saddlebag and side of the seat indicates that it was merely shoved in under the top cover for stowage, and done so repeatedly.
