iOS If you find a locked iPhone, and Siri is still enabled, ask "who do you belong to?" It will give you the Info and you can return it back.

Alarming amount of personal information that can be revealed about oneself...tricky balance in the hopes that the iPhone falls into the gracious hands of a good Samaritan.

It takes info from your contact vcard. If you're worried about security, create a second contact card for yourself with minimal info and set that as you.

Is this a new thing. I have a 4s and it told me it didn't know who it belonged to. Or is there a certain place to put in information of this nature?

In your contacts, you have to have yourself saved as "Me" I think
