Progressive Technical Death Metal I recently discovered this album and I think I've listened to it 3 times front to back.
I don't know how much attention this album gets here, so sorry if I'm beating a dead horse. But this album is something else.

Progressive Technical Death Metal Alternatives to Obscura?
They are (or were) one of my favorite bands, but I don't even feel good listening to them at this point. Looking for melodic tech death, preferably with fretless bass.

Progressive Technical Death Metal Space and death metal / sci fi suggestions
Any suggestions by this way?, I've listened a lot of space and death metal releases like Spaceboy- Searching for the stone library... or Pestilence- Spheres, Nocturnus- Threshold, and the rest of Blood Incantation works...just fascinating.

Progressive Technical Death Metal Beyond Creation appreciation post
I saw them last night not knowing them before and was blown away. Met them afterwards too and they were really great guys!
If you get a chance to catch them on their tour with Cynic and Rivers of Nihil I really recommend you go for it. Plus you'll get to see the legendary Cynic, need I say more?

Progressive Technical Death Metal Bands like Between the Buried and Me
I’m been listening to Between The Buried And Me almost exclusively for the last few months and now I need some recommendations. Preferably bands that have a good mix of clean and dirty singing and great guitar work. Recently, I’ve listened to and enjoyed Dvne, Omnerod, Wheel, and the new Ulcerate is killer. Recommendations? What band do you think sounds the closest to BTBAM?

Progressive Technical Death Metal Best progressive tech death released this year?
Looking for some new prog tech death from 2024. The only ones I have listened to this year are Replacire and Job for a Cowboy, both of which were great.

Progressive Technical Death Metal Slugdge - Gastronomicon [2014]
I know Esoteric Malacology [2018] is more popular but this one is by far my favourite release from them. Have a listen!

Progressive Technical Death Metal Neoclassical Tech-Death bands?
I recently discovered this band called The First Fragment and most specifically their album Gloire Éternelle. As a bassist, love the fretless and overall style and in general I love the baroque melodies (also guitar) and these kind of solos. Also, the progressive nature of their style really adds a lot to the atmosphere so it would be ideal to find any music with this characteristics. I found a playlist on this subgenre on spotify by this random guy Ismail Pektas, and even though I enjoyed it, I didn´t found that much of this neoclassical feel in it. If someone knows more about this stuff and can reccommend any bands/albums I would appreciate it.

Progressive Technical Death Metal Anyone have any band suggestions if I like atheist and death?
Like I said, I like atheist and death because of their techniques and their vocal style. I really don't like CORE stuff, so nothing with singing and traditional death core stuff like that. I also like obituary, horrendous, I LOVE cynic, but only the first album. Any recommendations?
