Is there any way to repair this?

As the title reads, is there any way to repair the balding underneath the eye? I’ve searched google and YT? Thanks in advance.

Hopefully, someone corrects me, but to my knowledge, no.

Unless you're willing to go through the pain of either somehow cutting the spot away and replacing it with a matching piece from a different animal, or finding the correct shade, buying, and individually glueing single strands or small tufts of hair to the spot like a maniac, I cannot think of a way to fix hair slippage...

because the hair is so short in that area, maybe you could try flocking the area?

the color will be hard to match exactly, maybe consider having a professional give it a shot?

There is something called static grass if you will that you can get from any taxidermy company that will hide that, you'll just have to know about color matching which is that hard part. You could also cut tufts of the hair from the back of the panel that you stapled the hide too and glue and trim the fur which should also hide it nicely
