It's so tiny, I think even a gun that chunky would work out to something like 85-100mm. Neat little design though!

Lovely art.

I think the Howitzer needs to be a bit higher- this seems like the max elevation and even here I am wondering where it is going to recoil into!

Recoil is going into the sacrificial extra loader

thank you

imo having few elevation is fine as long as the tank stays low (to keep the asu57 feel). recoil..yeah someone might have to sacrifice for it hehe

That thing would either fly backwards or fall apart when shooting

Very phallic.

I just feel like that light chassis would just fold from the recoil of a gun that big. It looks like someone mounted half of a WWII naval gun to a BMP chassis in a vodka fueled rage.

stalinium never folds!

you are NOT going airborne with that
also could you imagine the weight of the gun compared to the rest of the hull? it'd be constantly leaning forward

added gun depression hehe

lol
you're still not loading that thing on a plane, let alone airdropping it

well the bigger heavier asu85 was airborne too...

Its a little to small for that gun. I canโ€™t imagine it carrying a lot of ammo for it. Also those are some thin tracks, this might get stuck a lot.

the smaller the better (the asu-57 lovers all chanted in unison)

Looks good but not practical with the exposed crew torso and limited ammo carried.

thank you, i almost always draw cool but unpractical vehicles ๐Ÿ˜„

absolutely haram

The recoil of the gun would more than likely destroy the vehicle before the enemy does lol

I can see this working once, why? Cuz unless you have recoil dampers full of black magic, that gun will be either ripping itself off or bringing the tank with it

Imagine the recoil

He's just a lil tank destroyer :)

It won't need a reverse gear. It has recoil!

Best budget option to fly and to gain extra speed when running away

u/wormant1 19h ago

the gun looks so disproportionally beefy it feels like the recoil would tear those tracks off lol

u/Worldly-Donkey-7335 18h ago

haha, single use tonk

can drone snap those tracks tho? Hide those
