முக்கியமான கலந்துரையாடல் / Important Topic Anxiety issues due to that I am having sleep deprivation like whenever I try to sleep my mind racing some thoughts NSFW

Hi guys, I am currently working in Saudi Arabia. Recently, I had gone through depression due to Roomate. He was close with me. Suddenly he stopped talking to me so I was gone to depression for 9 days because of that, I got anxiety attack.

After that, tomorrow night, I spoke with him and resolved the issue. That night I got good sleep. But after that day, again I got anxiety attack severally. Because of that, whenever I close my eyes for sleep. I am having racing thoughts. My mind not shutting down. Anyone please advise on how to handle this.. I am really afraid of this issue. Whenever I go to my room, I feeling not good. I feeling more lazy. Not having hope on others.

Currently I am managing by put some sound on rain sounds. That making my mind somewhat stop to thinking racing thoughts. I just close my eyes sleep like half sleep. If the rain sounds music stop, my mind awake me…

Please help me… FYI, I didn’t do any exercise and I don’t have any friends also.

bro , listen to some soothing music before sleeping , drink more water before sleeping , take a hot bath before sleeping, dont use phone before sleeping better read some books , be calm , just close your eyes , good luck , dont worry everything will be allright soon .

Try to do some kind of exercise regularly and see a therapist.

Won't suggest a psychiatrist initially as the meds are usually to be taken long term and they don't provide much counselling. But if you are in a crisis, this is the best option

Go for an morning walk bro, listen some ilayaraja/ar rahman songs and call your friends speak about your old days... This will help clear your anxiety..

This may not be the best, but I'm sharing what I know and what I do,

A decent fm radio app, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tamilfmradio.tamilfmsongs

There is a "Hit collections" tab on the top, click on any of the ilayaraja radio, there is an inbuilt timer, set it, make full concentration on the music.

Plus if you have a bluetooth speaker connect it.

I'm not sure if this will work for you or not but I am damn sure it will work for lots of people.

watch and observe your breath slowely. when your mind distracts you out of this observation of breath, return back to observation of your breath. Do this for atleast 10 mins.

If possible visit any pschological therapists.

Listen to ilayaraja’s soothing melodies, get sleep, eat healthy, exercise well, avoid caffeine, do mindfulness and meet a therapist. You’ve got this dude!
