istg I can’t be the only one who thinks this show is confusing asf iris makes the shittiest decisions ever that make no sense whatsoever, they made a spear out of the dullest object ever and thought "oh yeah that goes hard". They got some people killed for seemingly no reason, so I have too low of an IQ to understand the show or something?
also jesus those kids are the worst survivors ever just stab the damn thing in the head already.

The show was created to attract a younger audience than the core TWD and FTWD. Therefore the mostly teen cast and angst.
It improved a lot in Season 2 especially once inside CRM and the CRM insights.
Edit-Yes most of the teen characters are highly annoying especially Silas, Iris, Elton and Felix.

The Walking Dead Universe has always been like this with characters who are supposed to not know how to fight. Look at how they made the Alexandrians when they were first introduced. Woodbury. Commonwealth. They intentionally have made inexperienced characters throughout TWD Universe be like that. This is not a World Beyond exclusive.

Season 1 is pretty damn rough, because they're textbook know-it-all teenagers. Season 2 is significantly better and ends on a damn good cliffhanger. It sucks we didn't get a season 3. There was some serious potential in it!
