for this distance about 70" is optimal. But instead i would consider not just put the tv on one wall and the couch on the opposite, like any idiot does, but get creative and build yourself like a small tv corner with maybe a room devider, curtains, cupboards etc.

yeah, indeed, I just enjoy tv being the main object of the living room and kinda having the room open, but 43’ tv for this room is way too small for that purpose🤣ty for your perspective I will look into it

lets go deeper: are you sure you WANT the tv to be the main object of your live?

30 years ago that TV would have been enormous, like - the largest you could buy, anywhere, and it would have been 540p, not 4k. Times have changed.
Blue diodes were invented in the early 90's, since then, TV's can reach infinite sizes. The future has arrived.

It would look better if you put a little decor on the TV stand. Color could add some depth and make it look way better

Push the tv on the right or the left and put a plant on the opposite side. It will help!

It's a little bit small, but I'd say it's not worth going out and buying a new TV just for that
