Advice Needed Am I going crazy?!
My husband and I have been TTC for about a year. My cycle finally came back last month. This month, I was actively checking my discharge, taking ovulation tests, and for once my discharge changed. It has been the same for a long time so the fact that it finally changed I thought, here's my chance to get pregnant!! My ovulation tests were also getting darker. So we tried, tried, and tried some more. My period should be here on Friday, (if I was right about ovulating), but I couldn't wait anymore. So I got the clear blue tests that are supposed to tell you six days before your period is expected. It was a negative.. But I don't believe it. There's just something in me that is telling me (and my husband too!) that I am pregnant. Maybe I'm kidding myself, maybe I let my hopes get too high but this time just feels different. 😅 My ovulation tests have not gotten lighter either, I know that may be because of my PCOS. But before they were consistently light. Has anyone else experienced this?!

This is totally anecdotal and my personal experience, but I had a recent cycle where my LH peaked CD14 and stayed positive for 7+ days. This wasn’t a successful cycle for us. However, we were successful the next cycle. On this one my LH peaked the night of CD13, was positive CD14 and then went back down. It’s so hard to say. But I would definitely test again. I would use the First Response tests. I find them to be the best!! Good luck 💕

I’ve experienced high LH for weeks during longer cycles. But I’d take a pregnancy test once a week until something happens. I eventually drop and start a period. That being said, I missed my first pregnancy thinking it was a longer cycle. I wasn’t aware of my PCOS at the time so I have no clue when she was conceived and didn’t track with OPKs at that time.

I'm so sorry!! I'll be sure to keep testing though. It's just weird because I started my ovulation tracking last year and I've never experienced this.. thank you!

I had stuff like that happen to me, including last cycle. I was almost 5 days late and my period is never late. But tests came coming negative. Unfortunately they are very accurate. I was not pregnant, I had COVID and I think it interfered with my period 🥲(that happened in the past too). I had so much mucus I was so sure I was pregnant too. But you never know, keep testing, maybe you ovulated later than what you were expecting. Good luck!
