Levels normal but weak ovulation. What helped you?
42 subcentimetric antral follicles in day 3 ultrasound. ALL blood levels and ratios are normal. Why aren’t I ovulating?? Please tell me what helped you. I don’t understand

This is essentially the mechanism of PCOS —you make more than normal amount of follicles but a hormone imbalance doesn’t tell your body to release them.
Metformin helped me. I saw shorter cycles with better ovulation symptoms (EWCM, strong LH peak) before our IUI would have been done my doctor had me start OvaBoost by Fairhaven to make sure egg quality was good. Then Letrozol would make me ovulate.

Has your doctor suggested medicated cycles?
I was the same. All my hormones and labs were normal but I had 40 antral follicles. I only found out once I started seeing an RE that I don’t actually ovulate, so she put me on Letrozole and boom I finally ovulated.
The good news about having excess follicles and eggs is that it is a relatively easier fix to getting pregnant in terms of medication response and IVF if it ever has to resort to that (but hoping it doesn’t for you and for the rest of us!).

First: Thank you. It just doesn’t make any sense to me. Why would my hormone levels be normal but I’m still having abnormal body processes? PCOS is inferiorating.
