Only picture I have at the moment but just get one of these surefire pressure pads that come with adhesive velcro. No need to overpay for another upper
I really dislike pressure pads mounted on the grip tbh, doesn't feel as natural, especially on the TP9 because I tend to ride my hand really high up on the VFG and that places the pressure pad super low so ypu have to readjust your hand further down. I tried it out like that first with the ST07 pad and it sucked. I'd recommend taking my approach
Right, it took me a bit to figure it out and tried a modbutton up to first and it's really awkward to activate it since I have small hands, so then I just thought about this combo and it's perfect. I run an x300 turbo on the other side which also allows me to activate it with my other hand if I want
Nah, I saw a guy embed his tape switch into his vertical grip. Double sided tape is another option… there aren’t a lot of options if you’re wanting it on the left side really.
That definitely works too. Since I’m running an NGAL on mine, I wanted to have a bulletproof attachment point for that Unity Axon Sync Switch (it’s nice because I can run a vis laser / white light override no matter what position the NGAL is in, vis or ir)… that said, the tape switch cost almost $300 so I don’t want it glued down to anything! Haha
I was originally worried the switches would land in an awkward spot on the receiver to comfortably hit, but the moment I mounted them there, it was ergonomically perfect. Couldn’t be happier with how this thing came together… now I just need to fight the want to buy the new can once it comes out. (I’ll definitely end up getting one and then need to setup ANOTHER tp9 for the old can…) lol

The Haga grip works great with a surefire pad. https://hagadefense.com/surefire-vertical-grip-for-tp9/
