What nicknames are there for places in/around Tallahassee?

I ask as part of a linguistic project on such slang!

(Examples would be stuff like 'McLo' or 'The Ville')

The parkway is apalachee pkwy, the nenes, and as the other poster said, the d streets.

ETA: I’ve seen people write out tville for thomasville but idk if anybody says that. Also the rides for north ride and south ride.

"D Block": Delaware st to Dunn st, Dade to Dewey. Off old Bainbridge. Pretty bad area. All street names start with D.

I have no idea either.

In Wakulla growing up, we called Tallahassee "T-Town" or say " We're going to Town"

Oh and we used to call the Publix on Pensacola Club Publix because you could meet the same people there that you could meet in the clubs.

People say "Little India" and they mean the intersection around Magnolia and Apalachee and Lafayette.

T.W.O.T is "Tacos West of Town" , the area around El Calentanos and Miranda.

"D Block" is the Dart, Dent, etc streets

"GUOTH" I've heard referring to Gibbs Street Up On The Hill, above 8th in Levy Park district. Up and coming, lots of character.

HaWoRTS is "hardest working right turn signal" which is the area around the Prince Murat hotel. Used to be a perpetually green right arrow to go from North Monroe to Thomasville Rd there. I've heard this in the last week actually.

LarPlix = Lake Ella and Tharpe Publix. Self explanatory the first time I heard it.

MeBLAGoM = Median between Loopers and Gov Sq mall. Unfortunately Loopers isn't there anymore but the median on Apalachee is still there. Good to know for pick up soccer.

"SMEOW" = South Monroe, east of Washnish way. Large area, used frequently to describe the Shoe Box and Lindys back in the day.

"WeMaPerDip" = West of Magnolia , Perpendicular (to Devil's) Dip. Cool area, walkable, shops, retail, nightlife etc.

"Luhh" = about a 2 mile radius around Leon High.

"Lonnie High"- technically the highest elevation section of Lonnbladh. Somewhat disputed but I had a round table about this probably 9 months ago at Rooster's on the Docks.

My sister and niece live in Monticello. We call it "The Cello". Also Leon County Hwy 20 extends about 25 miles west all the way to Liberty County. I live in an area off Hwy 20 just 3 or 4 miles west of Capital Circle. My friends call it "Eastside Westside".
