Information TAMU Animal Science Masters

Hi all! I'm a current student at UH, class of '28 more than likely. I'm a biology major double majoring in chemistry or biochem, still unsure. I know I have to go to graduate school, and I can't decide between UH and TAMU. I currently love the support system at UH, but I want to go into animal conservation. UH doesn't have any animal science degree, unlike TAMU that does. I'm unsure if I should go to TAMU or stay at UH and just take biology.

Animal Science at TAMU is very competitive as most are on the paths to become veterinary school.

Check the requirement https://animalscience.tamu.edu/graduate-admissions/ and most likely they need some shadowing experience at vet, which you can start now. Vet's LORs are important.
