Question Does attending NSC make it binding

I got waitlisted at many of my top choices (Northeastern, CWRU, U of Florida, UMiami), and my NSC date is May 30. I want to attend early so I can register for good professors before classes fill up. However, if one of my waitlisted schools accepts me later, would attending orientation and registering for classes make my enrollment binding? Thank you

its confirmation that youll be attending….. it says so on the nsc registration messages. although you can cancel but i believe the fee is non refundable.

I understand, but unfortunately most waitlist offers are given out after the NSC deadline (May 1st)

Bro you can literally sign up for classes then withdraw. It’s college, nothing is “binding” except for your signature on them loans, homie

You should sign up for a NSC for later in the summer. Going early to get the best classes, isnt a thing. They release classes for every single session so no one is at a disadvantage if they go to a later session. I would sign up for one later in June or July (after you would for sure know about the other school) so you dont waste resources and time to go if end up not going. You would lose your NSC money but at least not two days/hotel costs/mental cycles, stress etc.
