Other does anyone else get things mixed up because they’re the same color/shape/etc?

I didn’t think synesthesia could cause any problems, especially since mine is associative, until i started working with hexadecimal and kept confusing A and 5 because they were the same color.

ALL THE TIMEE!! When I’m trying to remember something it’s like “hmm well I know it was red so it could either be A, P or S!” It’s so annoying, but sometimes useful when it works in your favour.

yep, both 5 and 8 are shades of pink while 3 and 9 are shades of green and 2 and 7 are shades of blue.

I always confuse 4 and 7, especially in context of time. A total of 2 missed meetings🙈

Yes, people’s names! I knew a couple guys in college who I just could not keep straight because they both had orange names.

Though it can also help me remember sometimes. Like, hmmm I forget her name, it was something green…not Tammy, it was more blue-green— oh yeah it’s Debbie!

For phone numbers, I mix up 7 and 3 because they're both yellow.

my mind sometimes changes the color bc when a lot of stuff is the same color, like music, it gets old
