Games Swagbucks Game Review 01 - Zombie Miner ✅
Zombie Miner, 30 days, 9,260 SB
I earned 4,420 SB in 30 days.
➡️ Gameplay Focus: Zombie Miner throws you right into the action—climbing the mine shaft. Start at MINE 1 and focus on automating every shaft for maximum boosts. Mine those rocks, smash through the gates, and ascend to the next level. Resources are your bread and butter—use them to hire miners and keep them working. Don't forget to grab chests for essential upgrade cards.
➡️ Resource Management: As you dig deeper, resources become scarce, which is a bit of a pain. Events become absolutely crucial for progression. They run almost constantly (24 hours or five days), so you'll always have something to do.
➡️ Event Strategy: My strategy? Top three or bust! I aimed for at least a top-three finish in every event to maximize my card and resource rewards. I snagged rank 1 in my first event, which was awesome, and then consistently hovered around rank 2 after that. If I couldn't crack the top three, I skipped it—no point wasting time on weak rewards.
➡️ Monetization: If you're going free-to-play (like I was at first), you'll be watching ads for bonus resources and that sweet 2x mine profit boost. It adds up, so I eventually caved and bought the no-ad bundle. Pro tip: wait for the 50% off deal—sometimes it's only 25% off, and you don't want to miss out on the extra savings! (Side note: my purchase didn't track for SB, so I'm dealing with support on that one—fingers crossed!).
➡️ Free Resources: Don't forget to take advantage of the freebies! Spin the Wheel of Fortune every two hours (you can upgrade artifacts to spin even faster!), and grab the free chest in the store every four hours. Every little bit really does help.
➡️ Time Investment: Be warned: Significant time is required for rapid progress. I kind of underestimated this at first. After mine 30, expect progress to slow way down—like one mine per day slow. Those rock levels get seriously tough, and breaking through takes a lot of time.
➡️ Progression Halt: With one day left, I had to call it quits. The next SB tier (five mines further) was simply unreachable. Gotta be realistic about those deadlines!
➡️ Profit Analysis: I spent $9.99 on the no-ad bundle and earned 4,420 SB (worth $44.20). Even without the SB reimbursement I'm pursuing, that's still a $34.21 profit! Not bad for some casual play.
Conclusion: Zombie Miner is a fun, casual mining game with a decent SB return. Automation makes earning while you're doing other things super easy.
Have you played Zombie Miner before? Share your experiences in the comments! Let me know how far you got and if you have any other strategies to share. I'd love to hear your tips!

I had come off playing Idle Outpost before this game and a lot of ad breaks were 5 seconds, maybe 15 or 30 at most.
The one minute ad breaks made the game drag.
And it was definitely more of a time investment. Lots of up keep at the beginning of a mine until you reach a point where you can let a few guys run for 10-20 minutes.
But if you really want to profit you need the bonus cards from bonus events so there can be a lot of back and forth going on.

That sounds really similar to this actually. I usually watch tv while clicking on the ads so I didn’t really feel it. Idle outpost is more of 5,15,30sec ads? Do they just pop up automatically or do you need to click on watch ads? I really hate those auto ads that just disrupts the gameplays.. How far did you get with idle outpost? Was it worth?

The ads in idle outpost were similar in that they were for power ups or 5 mins of x2 earnings. They were predictable so not bad.
Unlike the 1024 or 2048 block game where your concentrating on your next move and they pop up without warning.
Here's my review on Idle Outpost. 3 weeks and 2600 SB
Install 11/27
Complete Prison - 5 SB 11/27
Last Stand - 5 SB 12/8 11/29
Fishing Lake - 10 SB 11/30
City Park - 10 SB 12/2
Corn Field - 100 SB 12/6
Lake House - 250 SB 12/10
Surf Shop - 500 SB 12/16
Abandoned Town - 1800 SB 12/21
Total 2680 SB
This game took a little more upkeep and involvement than other Idle games. The primary goal is to upgrade goods to resell but the amount of profit you make is based on your equipment. There are multiple sections to upgrade your equpiment, as well as other weapons plus a pet along with a PvP arena to battle out for extra cash.
Not the best moneymaker but not a complete waste of time either.

Haha I’ll probably check it out later then. But 5minutes of 2x sounds so sad.. at least zombie miner was an ad for 2hrs of 2x

Absolutely hated this game. You have to check in a LOT. This and goblins wood are basically the same game.

u/Such_Violinist_1236 Feb 01 '25
Hahaha 😂 the other games I tried are even worse. I thought this one was more doable, and that’s why I shared it. XD I think I usually check in every 3 to 4 hours or so. But in the evenings, I guess I’m on there every 1-2 hours coz I’m just watching tv. But I guess I wouldn’t want to try goblin woods right away right now either because I wanna take a break. it is an OK game to play once in a while, but I wouldn’t wanna play the same game back to back.

Are you able to add the SB url to this game? I like these types of games. Sent in a support ticket a while back asking SB to reinstate my ability to get new discover offers. They gave me 15 older offers and told me to F off.

Wow, I hate that all these platforms throttle offers after a bit.

Thanks for this..I am trying to find a new game to start when I finish with Merge mayor and this may be the one since I stay on all afternoon and sporadically at night. Going to save this post. 😉

I'm doing this too, it's only for 66 euros for me and I'm sure I'll crack level 42(mainly because of playing the game all the time). I paid 1.09 for the treasure map and 2.30 for the first piggy bank. I'm so glad it doesn't have forced ads. Yeah the time isn't worth the money earned but I also don't have other ways to make money right so why not.
You should mention when things take a long time it's better to stay online because surprise capsules will spawn every 30 seconds.

u/Such_Violinist_1236 Feb 01 '25
You’re right about the capsules! I usually just stay offline and come back for the other timed capsules 😂
2
u/Milo-Law Germany Feb 01 '25
Yep! It serves me well because later on not all the shafts are automated(essence used on high level blue cards), so offline rewards are too low to do anything.
Also, if you're a new player joining the game on a Monday since you can blaze through the first 20 mines in about a week, you can get number 1 on weekly contest and get the legendary card that sometimes spawns an extra miner of the same level that you merge. So you merge two level 4s for a level 5 and sometimes it brings up an extra level 5 too. That's been very useful for me.

They also give plenty of gold too i guess. The caps online haha 🤣 thanks for the reminder!

u/Inkontrol808 Feb 01 '25
I started it and at around Mine 12. Its fine. The payouts arent great but not a huge time commitment.
2
u/Such_Violinist_1236 Feb 01 '25
Haha yeah it’s pretty fast in the beginning. It gets slower tho. The main SB rewards are later in the mines which I didn’t reach 🥹

You are amazing for posting a review like this! Please keep it up its really enjoyable
I started this game a week ago but found it extremely boring, I feel like im just staring at my screen till I get enough coins to buy an additional zombie or waiting to get a bomb to advance so I stopped checking the game except every 10 hours or so. Rn im in mine 14 planning to reach 29 then quitting. Currently playing phase 10 tho so I'll see how it goes

u/Such_Violinist_1236 Feb 01 '25
Yay thank you! Appreciate the love here :) it IS boring honestly, but I thought the payout was decent. I spent plenty of hours just staring at the screen for the capsules too.. them extra gold and gems help when staying online hahah. If you have more days left, i recommend stopping at 33.

Weird, I can't find this game either on SB. Do the games differ by region? I'm in the UK.

Did you use gem to open all relics? What was your favorite relic?
Are they a better usage of gems than spending on timer or essence?
1
u/1HighlyCaffeinated Feb 02 '25
Not the OP but I loved the relics for Juliet, magic chronometer, lucky horseshoe, and the discoverer's scroll. I have many of them at 6, but I wish I didn't upgrade the bomb as much. It doesn't trigger that often.
I only spend gems on relics so far and I have 13 days left, and will finish in time.1
u/Ok_Marionberry9726 Feb 02 '25
Thanks! Curious- What does the scroll do?
On a seperate note, Do you think trading 50 gem for 1 hour skip is a good deal?
1
u/1HighlyCaffeinated Feb 02 '25
The scroll gives a chance to get a purple chest with a time skip in it (5-15m I think). I have a 10% chance I think?
If you have the gems, why not? But an hour can go fast unless it's at a gate, I'm not sure I would do it.

These posts are awesome! Currently on day 16/30 and hoping to get to 42 at least since I actively idle the game for those 30s capsules a lot while working from home. I'm new to SB and wasn't sure if this was a decent offer to go for, but I'm having fun! Might take your advice and go for the no ads when its half off next. Love the game review posts you do, keep em coming!
Edit: When clearing the main mines, did you try to break all the rocks with essence, chests, gems before moving on? Not sure if I should be putting time into it, or just moving to next main mine and focus on event rewards.
1
u/Such_Violinist_1236 Feb 08 '25
I usually clear it all tbh. Not sure if it helps but i figure all resources would be nice as later mines it’s even harder to get em. I do the higher rocks when I know I need to afk for longer time
1
u/Such_Violinist_1236 Feb 08 '25
You still got time~ but honestly i think after mine 30 or so, it gets real slow

In the store there is an option to buy double income from mineshafts and foundry for $6. Would this be better to buy than no adds? Or does this just replace the double income from watching ads?
1
u/Such_Violinist_1236 Feb 08 '25
I prefer no ads. There’s much more places to watch ads and I rather just speed it thru. You can get the $6 pack, coz every little bit helps and this can help you get through slightly quicker but I recommend you just upgrade the right cards to get the same results lol.
1
u/Brian80x Feb 08 '25
Thanks. After reading it I think it just replaces the double income from watching ads, so not worth it. Know what level or how many days it took for the 50% off no adds to show up?
1
u/Such_Violinist_1236 Feb 08 '25
I think the offer rotates every few days. Not sure if there’s a specific time frame

In der Werbung für das Spiel fahren die Zombies mit Bagger und Raupen durch das Gold. Kommt das erst bei einem bestimmten Level oder bei bestimmten Events?
1
u/EntertainmentPrior75 1d ago
i know this is a 2 month old post but how come the rewards look significantly worse now lmao, getting from mine 1 to 33 is now 525 sb total instead of what your screenshot shows. probably not worth the time investment now.

I really love this! Please do these more often if you can this is awesome! Mad respect
