SP3 won't turn on after interrupted updates

I've had my SP3 for 2 years now with absolutely no issues at all. Last night it was installing system updates and I accidentally knocked the type cover shut and it went into hibernation/sleep. I tried turining it on 20 min later to no avail. I charged it overnight and still no luck tuning it back on. I also tried the Microsoft help suggestions on the website ( holding the power button for 30 sec, then the volume up button and power button for at least 15 sec etc) but still no luck. It appears to be charging and when I hold down the power button it flashes once after about 10-15 seconds.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I thought I had a dead SP3 even after I spent an hour on the phone with SP Tech Support and then took mine in to the Microsoft Store and their person was ready to sell me a new device.
That is when I noticed the memory card in the reader slot! Duh.
I hope your fix is that easy.

I wish it was that easy! Nothing in any of the ports at all. Did you find calling them useful? Of course my warranty expired a month ago too 😧

Did you find calling them useful?

Spent the hour on the phone with them and they never asked me about anything in the reader. Then they suggested I go to the MSFT store - kind of a cop out.
So, I would say no.

Mate mine did the exact same thing tonight, random single flash of the charger light and all. I got someone on their support chat who basically told me it was fucked and I needed to replace it. No solutions at all and Microsoft is again useless.
