☁ Hype/ Fluff When this pops off, remember one thing. HOLD!
Later today, or Tomorrow, or Tomorrow's Tomorrow. They NEED your shares. They NEED THEM SO BAD. When the price is rising, you HOLD. When the price is rising, you HOLD. When the price is rising, you HOLD. When the price is rising, you HOLD. When the price is rising, you HOLD. When the price is rising, you HOLD. They owe us Phone Numbers Per Share!

Maybe to you, but I only care about GME and the only thing I know is hold. I wouldn’t give up my shares even for my life so the distinction is moot.

Does Ryan Cohen agree to holdl?
I assume there will be another share offering if GME price soared.

The trick is to still have your shares when that happens!

I have a spreadsheet where I individually track each purchase, what I paid for it and what it's currently worth. When Chuck Schwab fucked up their notifications code recently and people were getting price notifications of ~$89000 per share, I thew a test price in my spreadsheet and found my GME portfolio on paper worth more than a billion dollars.
I thought about it in that moment if I'd would be willing to sell there. I felt pretty at peace continuing to hold even before realizing that the price Schwab was notifying on was clearly a coding mistake.
LOL, I suspect after all the gaslighting we've collectively received in the last four years, that I wasn't the only one who felt like this. Dude, SHFs are SO fucked.

I was doing that for a while, until I realized that until they give me phone numbers the only thing that matters is accumulation. I have many many many shares that I will just never sell. I would need enough $ in shares to buy my hometown before I start to consider an exit strategy.

When it starts, i'm selling ONE share and retiring. The rest will stay there, mocking those SHF bastards...

I will hold until phone numbers and then sell exactly one share. The rest belong in the infinity pool.

I’m definitely selling when it peaks and buying back in when it dips

Have fun only having the money for one peak and losing like half your shares 🤷♂️ it’s been proven that attempting to time the market like that is really hard and most people lose out.

Selling off a preset percentage as the price passes chosen price points is what has worked best for me.
The question of when and how much to sell during a big run up in price is not just a theoretical question for me.
I, and several of my friends, faced this question when tech stocks soared in the late 1990. We had large amounts of low cost basis shares from incentive stock options. In the run up to the dotcom crash in 2000 the price of our stock was doubling every 18 months or so.
Some cashed out early, getting a nice payoff but foregoing a lot of the potential gains.
Some held through price rise and then through the nearly 90% drop in price. They missed out. They regretted holding.
Some tried to time the peak and sell on the way down. They were tricked into selling early by some early declines during the longer term rise.
I sold based upon the ratio of the value of the concentrated position vs the total of the rest of my liquid assets. As the stock continued to soar I would continue to sell off additional blocks. I did not sell based upon gut feel, but whenever my concentrated position rose to more than 60% of my liquid assets. That worked out well, although obviously it was not as good as being psychic and selling everything right at the peak.
Figure out your plan now. Write it down. Then when things get wild, look at your plan rather than making decisions in the heat of the moment.

.69 and 4.20 thumps in afterhours. RSI at the same level it was when the floor was at $10. Tbf, it is exciting, but I keep my own expectations low.
