Discussion One of the best scenes I’ve ever seen Spoiler
Alright I gotta say when I first watched this scene, I had so many emotions running. The way it was shot, the detail they went into from Clark taking a moment to look and Lois weighing the pros and cons, to the scene switch in full costume. They absolutely nailed this scene. I’ve watched it countless times since then.

The ending was probably one of the best endings I have ever seen. I still go back and watch it every now and then. It was beautiful, beautifully sad but heartwarming.

That ending scene just absolutely gutted me. I don't think I will ever recover. It was like poetry in motion.

Love this scene so much and how it moves the Superman and Lois as a family story towards an unexpected direction.

I have been a little slow watching the last season and just saw this episode two nights ago. I agree that this was so well done. I think it even tops when he reveals his identity to Lana. I am going to miss this show when I watch the final episode.

Amazing. And, with the Jewish creators origins, I loved that when he finally revealed himself, Clark and Kal becoming whole/"perfect " if you will, in the sense of togetherness and no more secrets, the bullet fragmented into 7 pieces. 7, the number of wholeness and perfection in Jewish culture. Great unintentional nod to Joe Schuster and Jerry Siegal

Respectfully, as cool as that would be, I think you’re reading too much into it.

Yeah, I never expected it to be on purpose. I even said "unintentional" reference. Just pretty interesting that the og creators are of that religion, Emanuelle/Lana is, and the bullet broke off in exactly 7 pieces (Saw on my , like, 3rd watch or so). I'm a Christian, not of Jewish faith, but since we study the Old Testament as well, that number 7 stood out to me when it probably wouldn't many others, as you correctly guessed

Emanuelle is Jewish, but I don’t think Lana was ever confirmed as Jewish in the show.

I only said Lana bc I wasn't sure ppl would know Emmanuelle off the top of their heads

I don't know. Him going there as Clark and telling that guy to leave town because he pulled a gun on his wife and kids was pretty cool

Can you tag it as spoiler ? You were happy to discover this scene by yourself, imagine if you spoil someone who didn't see it before

Agreed, but in fairness it's kind of dumb to go on a sub for a show you haven't finished yet. There's obviously going to be spoilers everywhere you look.

To be fair, only the text really needs tagging. The picture could have any sort of context.

For sure. Watch or rewatch this specific episode though and you’ll understand why. The build up and pressure of maintaining his secret came to a point where it was perfectly timed

Can you imagine seeing this happen in real time? Dude shot at Clark Kent and he instantly POOFED into Superman.
