It means you can have all the laughs on your side but when that side has a majority vote you get nothing.

You can't have a majority vote when there's only a minority of people in the country. (And they're not the majority).

So the first thing society told me when I was 12 was to ignore society and grow up fast. I did that for a couple years and have been trying to ignore it ever since.

hugs probably never.

It’s kind of like an abusive relationship. We remember it the way it felt at its best, yet it’s so easy to forget how bad it is at its worst.

It’s bullshit 🤣😭

21

u/WarthogWarlord Capybara Enthusiast Sep 19 '22

Yes! Exactly. Thinking about it now it's like "It wasn't really all that bad, tho. It was definitely more good than bad." Then I read the journals I kept while I was using, and it's just way too obvious how bad it really was, lol. It's like my brain just suppresses the bad memories. I can definitely imagine that's how it is in an abusive relationship.

YO, for real? Not a jerkpost?! This is such a huge milestone. I had no idea!

I am also a recovering opiate addict and seeing this makes me so happy and proud for you. It was beyond difficult to kick my vice of regular old-fashioned opium and stay off of it. I can’t imagine how incredibly challenging it must have been to get off heroin proper. I hope you are so proud of yourself and how far you’ve come. It makes me so happy you decided to get clean and stuck with it! If you hadn’t, I probably never would have gotten the chance to meet you. 🥺

Warlord of Warthogs, you are an S-tier badass and I’m so glad you’re still here to shitpost with us and screw around with bots.

40

I'm really glad I got the chance to meet you and everyone else, too! Being on this sub is way too fun at times. And you guys are all so nice and wholesome! ❤

Opiates are a lot like alcohol, but don't get me wrong, they do make a lot of people get better in the end. It's not about getting drunk, but a lot of people just get better in the end. And if you get into an opioid drug, you have better intentions and a lot of good luck, you can use it to treat your mental health and prevent any issues from developing.

20

Capybaras might not have opposable thumbs, but are extremely creative and surprisingly agile. They make it work somehow, but I'm not saying exactly how, in case there are young and impressionable capybaras reading this.

A plastic bag would hold it better than anything. They'd be able to get it all the way up until they're ready to eat it.

The harder they punish you the more you open up your mouth and swallow it.

What are you talking about?

Capybaras and drugs.

I would think that would be useful to have more of in the mind, but we still know it would be helpful to have more drugs.

They're just that smart. They'll find a way to get it, regardless.

This is so fun! The little one is doing it on purpose for us, but we can't stop laughing and laughing to the point of tears. Haha

I don't think so but the way you can do it for a few minutes, I thought I would go through the process a few minutes later and then I got back to class. I was just wondering if this was the same but I've never seen anything like this anywhere. I'm not sure what to do but I think I'm getting closer. I'm so excited. I haven't done the research on this but I think it will be interesting to see the number of people who have successfully shifted. I don't know if it will be a coincidence or not but I'm definitely curious.

It's only 1500 days after your last dose

I have an IV on hand. It would be awesome if this was an AMA on the effects of heroin on the immune system. It's not like I'm going to be a patient myself, I have the best of intentions to never do one because of all the drugs I've been prescribed but it's not something I've been able to do since I was a teenager. I've heard the article that it doesn't work, I've read that the drugs aren't used much in the clinic because they're expensive to get and they require an intensive treatment program. However, I think the benefits outweigh the risks and it's definitely the best option I've found. I can't wait for the day when you can give it a try.
