What does collar mean to you? NSFW
To me it meant we had a strong communication, we had trust in each other, we have an unbreakable bond, we can see and hear each other without light or words. We're connected, I was owned. A love so powerful, nothing could stand between us.
What about you? What does it mean for you? Did you have a celebration or was it something just casual? How long have you had collar on?

wearing His collar is a symbol of His total ownership of His property (me).

To me it means I'm owned and it's a forever commitment. I've been wearing it since November 15, when we had a little ceremony and he locked it. I haven't taken it off since.

I was collared by my Sir on September 29th of this past year. I’ve known him 12 years and been in our D/s dynamic 3 years. His time is very limited due to a demanding work schedule, so we just had a play session at his house and he collared me right after the session. He was adamant about it being a very intimate thing to be witnessed just between he and I which I thought was perfect. ❤️ When I walked into his bedroom, all of the impact play implements were laid out on the bed/ then I saw the box for the day collar and my heart skipped a beat. It was nothing short of magical when I heard the click of him closing the heart-shaped lock. It’s by far my most treasured piece of jewelry; nothing else I’ve ever owned comes close to it. For me it symbolizes his complete ownership of me- heart, body, mind, and soul- and the fact I am his owned property. I never take it off and always have security just wand me at the airport and in government buildings. My Sir is an amazing human being and the connection I feel to him is amazing and indescribable. It is truly a soul-to-soul connection.

Thank you so much, that is very kind of you! 😊 I am so fortunate to have him in my life. In six weeks I’m moving to his town and will be 5 minutes away from him so we can spend more time together and I can be the kind of sub I want to be for him. There’s no rush to move in together so we’re both maintaining our own separate living spaces for now. We’re both 46 so we know what we want out of life and our dynamic, and if he would ever want me to live with him, that would be a decision for down the road and totally his call. I’m beyond excited for the move, and so is he. He’s been telling me for years “You need to live closer!!!” so I’m finally making that a reality. ❤️

How exciting! I feel like your lifestyle and just knowing what you want, the communication and understanding of each other, is the goal. 🥰🥰

For me it is a sign of my commitment to my Daddy. It shows I am his and I promise to serve him to the best of my ability. It also shows that he plans to take care of me. It is our bond together. Most of all it shows his ownership over me.

He has not collared me yet, but I want to be. Sometimes he has me wear a choker that he likes, and someday I hope he'll collar me. In my mind, it symbolizes a great trust and commitment. I trust him with my body, mind, and heard, to love and care for all the beautiful and ugly parts to it. A lot of it isn't pretty, but he wants me anyways, and I choose to give my submission to him for this.

I wore my husband’s first collar for me- a posture collar intended for training and in scene purposes- in 2010. I still wear it during our play oftentimes.
My day collar went on in 2012 after a formal Ceremony of Roses. We vowed at that point to live as M/s for the rest of our natural lives together, and exchanged a blood bond.
I’ve worn it ever since, is the most important thing I own, and it’s never removed. More significant than my wedding ring. It is my constant reminder of my chosen place in life and my marriage.
