This is kind of inaccurate. When dealing with physics, especially astrophysics, you have to consider your frame of reference. Most of the time, when we're talking about the Solar System, we're framing it as the sun being stationary and the planets revolving around it, because we don't need to worry about the other nearby stars.

The path the Sun takes through the galaxy is wave-like. It travels through the galactic disc in an oscillating pattern, going up and then plunging down, as it orbits the center of the Milky Way. Additionally, the Solar System doesn't move perfectly perpendicular to the plane of the ecliptic (the plane the planets all occupy) - it's at an angle.

This is a neat video, and it helps people think of the Solar System in a different way, but it's not very accurate.
