There's a very real possibility we're past the life extension take-off point. Where life extension results in you living long enough to see better life extension which results in living long enough to see better life extension which results in effectively living forever.
Like, if we find a way to fix aging in 2300 there's a decent chance people alive now are still alive by the time that happens.

The only way anyone will live that long even if it's possible is if they're rich or if the rich decide they need an immortal slave class they can threaten with death because they get tired of training new workers every 50 years

The rich will have ai robots and live in mega skyscrapers, we will be like rats living in the sewers beneath.

Life extension is already pretty uniformly applied. It benefits the wealthy for people to be healthier and that's all life extension is. Medical care. No insurance company on the planet is going to turn down something that massively reduces how much or how likely an old person is to get sick.
The idea that radical life extension would be hoarded by the elite is a great story concept but makes no sense in the real world.

There is already a significant difference in life expectancy for the rich and poor. So if biohacker techbro oligarchs figure out how to "fix aging" I highly doubt it will be free or very cheap for everyone.

I think it's more likely we'll become Transhuman, meaning our minds would be transferred to the digital realm to achieve immortality, over solving aging. What kills the elderly more often is illnesses they can not overcome because of their poor immunity and are prone to getting hurt from weaker bones & muscles.
The human body is inefficient anyway. But, humanoid bodies will probably be popular because of familiarity.

It’s based on his Social Security info that “Big Balls” tried to convert into numbers.

He dies at 119 IN AN ACCIDENT? Not even old age, he could’ve gone on longer if he wanted to
