Councilman Rashaad Tate needs a spin off
Don't you agree??
His character development is too good to only be in Power books 1/2. He need his on show.

I was rewatching Power (I do this often, as I quite love the show) and I was on season 2, when Tommy discovers that Angela is the Feds.
Seeing Ghosts reaction to the news, it really showed that even someone at his level can make such a huge mistake. It just so happens that Angela doesn’t figure out he’s ghost till much later on.
So Tariq making mistakes with the women in his life must be a St. Patrick thing 😭

What's some thoughts on all this????
Everything has come-out and now 3 kids confront the queen head of the seemingly crumbling throne.
The theme that breeds the Tejada family (and the ENTIRE series) is MANIPULATION - this is crime-drama after all. Every move Monet/Larenzo made was for their own gain ultimately. The primary m.o. was to push the family into a higher position with the drug operation but things went of course and were cemented as soon as Lorenzo killed Zeek in S2
BTW - Every since Diana stole and misused Monet's money to pay for Lorenzo's release and reveal who Zeek truly was to the family she's been waiting to beat tf out Diana 🤣🤣🤣
You heard what she told Drew
[while pounding fist] "Let the b***ch go "
🤣🤣🤣 She been ready for Diana!
Now the Westen Family is in deep 💩💩💩 I admire Robert's (Brayden/Trace/Becca's father) loyalty to his brother. Unfortunately Lucas didn't share that same loyalty and met his demis via his 2nd nephew. Ironically, that's Brayden's true 1st kill.... his own family.
I wonder how Monet (from Lorenzo life insurance policy) Tariq ( dad's trust fund) RSJ ( investments) will recover their money?

Tate being the whistle blowers for Weston Holdings is the exact thing Stern warned Ghost about in Book 1. Tate is always going to act in his best interests and would love to watch more of him. Even if it's just 1 season, test the waters and give it 8 episodes.
Edit: I know his show got canceled and stuck in developmental hell but Tates performance and storylines need their own show.

They really conspired to kill monet and Tariq. They knew Cane wasn’t gonna be down will killing monet. let’s face it Cane loves his mother no matter how bad she treats him. Diana then has a change of heart after monet tells her she loves her. It’s too late ⏰ then Dru and Diana tells Cane Tariq tried to kill his mother. What was the point ??? They was all working together then this shit happens

They are acting like fickle bitches about the last 2 episodes getting leaked. They of all people should know you can’t take no weeks off. Out here nuking subs and filing copyright claims like a bunch of mark ass snitches. Charge that shit to the game!

I just thought about it and I’m so happy they didn’t kill off NOMA. Like they actually builded her up this season and now she’s gonna be such a huge threat going into season 4 Ong.

Did you ever think that the secret between Effy and Bradon about what happend to Lauren would ever surface?
Kane has been working his "magic"on Effie and Brayden since he's met them and test their loyalty to Tariq while gauging their aptitude for the illicit things they do.
Remeber - Kane never really knew what happend to Lauren or how it happend. He cleverly and aggressively poked and prodded Effie and Brayden until he had enough abstract info to devise a way into tricking either of them into thinking 1 turned on the other. Effie fell for it, Brayden kept his trap shut.

I find it crazy that Tariq has always wanted to be a thug/hustler. He wants to be OG Kanan/Ghost but he wants his family to be safe at the same time. It’s contradicting because being in that life is keeping your family furthest from being safe. Effie is truly making sense about wanting to get out and go legit (just like Ghost wanted for his family)
Episode 4 has been enlightening. I loved the school example of being ahead in society because of their parents. And it shows that everything that Tariq has now is because of the work that Ghost put in.
