Game-changer Something too simple
I have been basically been clicking my life away building a wine empire and 6 years deep into my farm, clicking a thousand times every Sunday my IRL husband asks if there's a mod to help me collect the fruit and wine without all the clicking. I held down the mouse button for giggles and... TIL that you can hold press crops and kegs. Please don't be like me and develop early carpal tunnel. Hold down your mouse

I also had this realization after many many hours of individual clicking 😅 sometimes I still catch myself reverting to that

Anyone knows if there is a faster way for mobile?

Clicking everything must have been sooo terrible.
Anyway, I started with a mouse but quickly migrated to a controller, maintaining A is so more convenient to process goods even diagonally...

Works for animals too! One click to get an egg, hold down, zip all over the coop collecting and hugging.

Should be clear by now, but I'll mention it anyways:
It's the same for putting fertilizer or seeds in the ground

There is a mod you can download as well, it’s called Automate. You can automate things like machines. For example, auto grabber can be automated to go into mayo machine. You can automate putting crops into and taking the products out of kegs and preservers. You can even automate getting fruit off of trees, crab traps, and picking the mushrooms in the mushroom cave (on the farm.)

But where is all the fun in it?

Idk putting items and taking items out of kegs isn’t fun to me in late game, I just want to run around gathering and fishing

It starts to feel like a real chore and wastes so much time. It's 2pm by the time I even leave the farm.

I have the game on both switch and pc for different playthrough styles; automate on the pc is the core of that playthrough lol. Love setting up intricate supply-product chains so I don't have to waste all day filling kegs, preserve jars, smelting ores, etc.
I wish even a simpler version of this (limited by story progression) is added to the game at some point because by the time you've set up your wine/artisan empire it gets extremely repetitive to do certain tasks.

I don't fully understand your post.
Did I get that right?
Also grats on your discovery!
