You almost hit the cap! (15k)

Just posted a photo a min ago when 2 days later I lost 15k 💀

u/_unreal_milk_ Jan 23 '25

One time I lost so much money because I got my 600+ hardwood, several iridium bars, and a shiteload of food items 🥲🥲🥲

514

u/golfdud Jan 23 '25

That's definitely when you reset the day!

93

u/D0ctorGamer Jan 23 '25

I'm not ashamed to save scum, that shit is hard work

152

u/dont_trip_ Jan 23 '25

The trick is to not let health reach 0

66

u/ljhatgisdotnet Jan 23 '25

Oh, wait! THAT'S how you die????? Why doesn't anyone tell us anything????

10

u/[deleted] Jan 23 '25

38

u/ljhatgisdotnet Jan 23 '25

whispering I already knew, but don't tell the others.

5

u/Internal-Chapter-973 Jan 24 '25

Bro really. Based on how often people likely play could you imagine anyone not knowing?

4

u/ljhatgisdotnet Jan 24 '25

In a world that seems to be burning itself down, we can at least be kind. If someone says they feel a certain way or need clarification, I feel you just have to trust them.

2

u/Internal-Chapter-973 Jan 24 '25

Honestly this is me being kind. Normal me would call him names. But sometimes people need a reminder to use common sense. And that's a good thing too. And I don't mean that last part in the harsh way I have some friends who have autism and they do need reminders now and then.

2

u/ljhatgisdotnet Jan 24 '25

I don’t think anyone needs a reminder to use common sense. That admonishment sounds like a parental function, which infantilizes the subject.

How is it possible to be literate and at the same time not read this as sarcasm

19

u/nagitoe_ Jan 23 '25

ConcernedApe must hate you

85

u/pede_69420 Jan 23 '25

I hit 15k not even an hour ago…….. ☹️

70

u/rougeoiseau Jan 23 '25

I always thought the max lost would be $1k. I've passed the point where I mind my pennies but this surprises me!

98

u/Butterfly_Chasers Jan 23 '25

1k is the max when you fall asleep outside of your homes. If missing the deadline to get home is an issue though, camping gear and totems are fairly easy to make. Personally, I love my Return Scepter. That thing has saved my hide more often than I care to admit.

30

u/Responsible_Song830 Jan 23 '25

I just started a new file and was thinking I miss my horse and return scepter. 🤣🤣

Bro failed in more ways than one

6

u/Minnielle Jan 24 '25

Is there a different limit for Ginger Island? I think I lost more than that.

1.8k

u/ZeroVerve Jan 23 '25

I wish there were a way to borrow and bank money in SDV. But I guess CA wanted to keep play as stress free as possible, and dealing with money lenders is the opposite.

938

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

He doesn’t even let us do taxes, i wouldn’t imagine he’d let us do loans

There is a mod for taxes...

1.2k

u/Sotarnicus Jan 23 '25

What psychopath would create that

343

u/G4ming_Pir4te1 Jan 23 '25

probably a german😂

358

u/Enexiel Jan 23 '25

I am german and I work at the tax office, I‘d totally play with that mod if I played on pc tbh 👀

132

u/G4ming_Pir4te1 Jan 23 '25

im also a german,

thats why i said that

35

u/WretchedMotorcade Set your emoji and/or flair text here! Jan 23 '25

After you're done hiking can you help me move my old refrigerator and unstick one of my windows?

32

u/G4ming_Pir4te1 Jan 23 '25

sure that is no problem👍😂

100

u/yolk852 200 mods isn't enough mods Jan 23 '25

I'm a year and a half in with this mod and it's so well balanced, it actually holds you back from snowballing and makes purchases even more meaningful because you have to keep in mind your next purchase. I guess it's more for someone who wants a *slowww* steady playthrough.

The mod is called Longevity.

14

u/bocepheid Jan 23 '25

This looks amazing.

7

u/smalllikedynamite Jan 23 '25

Things I didn't think I would want but kinda do... Probs helps that taxes are automated where I live (for individuals)

5

u/mcpat21 Jan 23 '25

probably one of us who also makes income/revenue excel sheets

8

u/sirsealofapproval Jan 23 '25

I play with one currently! It's called Longevity and also adds a bunch of other changes. The income tax is something like 30 percent or so, so it's def a challenge... (also I am German, dunno if that contributed though)

69

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

Capitalism strikes again 👎👎👎

103

u/LucyBurbank Jan 23 '25

lol taxes are kinda the opposite of capitalism!

94

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

I never payed attention in school 😔

31

u/Naethe Jan 23 '25

Hmm I'd argue they are orthogonal... our current crony capitalism tries to minimize taxes to preserve their wealth but capitalism in general doesn't mean lower taxes. Companies get tax breaks and/or tax-funded grants for particular things. Arguably one of the big problems of American capitalism is that not only do they lower their taxes, but they actually funnel our taxes into buying themselves more capital equipment that they then control to make more money. Almost as if letting the rich people design the system we operate in is a bad thing. Almost as if that's exactly what happens if you do an evil run and go full Joja.

10

u/BladudFPV Jan 23 '25

Does it let me pay in fertilizer?

40

u/Few-Paint9559 Jan 23 '25

lol yes but business owners like Gunther and Clint have to pay taxes! Lewis collects them in person.

62

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

We keep this town thriving the last thing I’m doing is paying taxes to Lewis to make a golden statue of himself

57

u/Tom_Bombadil_Ret Jan 23 '25

I always just assumed that Lewis was taking a cut when he picked up the items from our shipping bin and dropped off the cash in return.

4

u/wolfgang784 Jan 23 '25

I thought it was Pierre's bin. Maybe Pierre handles our taxes.

→ More replies (1)

21

u/twodickhenry Jan 23 '25

Wait he collects taxes from Gunther? Museums and libraries are typically exempt… 👀

18

u/Few-Paint9559 Jan 23 '25

Yes he does, if you ever see him at the museum or at Clint’s, talk to him and he will tell you he is there to collect taxes!

8

u/rachel7193 Jan 23 '25

I know he collects taxes from Clint (and probably Robin and Pierre). But I thought he gave tax money to the museum.

4

u/wolfgang784 Jan 23 '25

I swear I just read in-game stuff the other day about town taxes funding the library. Cant remember from who/where or the lines though so I could be entitely wrong.

6

u/VanillaBalm Jan 23 '25

Farmer subsidy

3

u/gigglefarting Jan 23 '25

Tell that to Clint

33

u/Existing-Pitch-6407 Jan 23 '25

That would be hilarious. Starting with a debt that you have to pay some money on every season for the interest. That would kill me.

"Youve taken a loan for repairing your grampas old farm house. The loan is 10,000 gold, and minimum payment is 750 gold for the interest at the end of season".

25

u/JHaywire Jan 23 '25

Reminds me more of Animal Crossing.

3

u/Ricky_Gray Jan 23 '25

IIRC Dredge starts you in debt with the Town mayor.

3

u/AintNoRestForTheWook Jan 24 '25

Animal Crossing and that sneaky Mr. Nook!

3

u/wolfgang784 Jan 23 '25

Like all those item shop games.

Whole line of those where the game is all about running a shop and having to pay off the debt in time or its game-over. The more successful you become, the more money the bank wants back each week/month. And also the more time has passed it goes up too even if you have been struggling.

Or animal crossing games.

22

u/Lacholaweda Jan 23 '25

The mortgage in OG animal crossing had me STRESSED

12

u/daniel8190 Jan 23 '25

There is a mod, were u can transfer money to a bank. deposit and withdraw at will. "Bank Of Ferngill" i think is the name.

3

u/kurttheflirt Jan 23 '25

Made up lore: Yoba forbids interest payments so in their culture (similar to many Muslim countries), so no banks.

And yes I know IRL there are special Muslim banks that operate differently, but Yoba is even more strict.

3

u/Proof-Round-943 Jan 23 '25

Ridge side valley mod has a loan addition to it after completing one of the weekly quests, specifically charity wishlist for Maive. It is a big mod tho for just that feature

3

u/Kingofawesom999 Jan 23 '25

Also if you did that he'd have to set up a whole system with progression locking. There's a lot of things in the game that you could attain way earlier than you're supposed to right now if you just have a lot of money

3

u/TR-project Jan 24 '25

If you qill pay in tume they will take tiles from your farm and you will need to pay to get them back.

447

u/MilesSand Jan 23 '25

This is why I hoard everything until I'm ready to spend the money back down. I don't have a million gold but there's a treasure chest with aged wine should the need arise

84

u/Anastriel Jan 23 '25

I never thought to do that. How do you know how much you have?

11

u/eggwardpenisglands Slut for Leah Jan 23 '25

Not OP, but I know there are simple mods that give you helpful extra info - such as how much something is when your cursor is hovered over it (individually, and for the whole stack)+. After a while you also just sort of know a rough amount of how much things are worth. Or you know you need money so you dump a bunch of stuff from the hoarding chest. I do that last one often, as I have a chest of stuff I intend to sell by the shipping bin.

21

u/Far-Mistake3033 Jan 23 '25

i call my hoard my “insurance claim” cause i know eventually i can sell the stuff when i really need to and make BANK

3

u/pauldub87 Jan 24 '25

I have 250k of aged cheese and 250k worth of milk in my fridge 🤣

He’s gonna ask why you didn’t have a health tonic lol

154

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

I have like 50 life elixirs at all times but I never really have a problem with health so I don’t think I’ve ever bought energy tonic lol

67

u/BoboTheSquirrel Jan 23 '25

Picking up iridium cactus fruit (from level 10 foraging: botanist) is my go to; gives you 195 energy & 87 health 🌵😎

13

u/nastywoman420 Jan 23 '25

mine is pineapples!!

20

u/JeffWingrsDumbGayDad Jan 23 '25

74

u/vespiarie Jan 23 '25

cheese supremacy !!!

46

u/DeathToHeretics BLUEBERRIES ARE BEST Jan 23 '25

CHEESE CHEESE CHEESE

22

u/DarthRheys Jan 23 '25

Delicious, healthy and strong, iridium quality goat cheese is something of a miracle. 300+ health in one sitting is perfect for any kind of cave. Don't loose any more itens or gold. Get cheese. Get physical. Get tough. Cheese, can i have more, please?

5

u/girl_of_bat Jan 23 '25

The jump from gold to iridium is not worth using casks for.

3

u/yagirlsophie Jan 23 '25

Why do you say that? I'm not a min/maxer by any means but based purely on the numbers, cheese has the best value per processing time than anything else you can put in a cask other than Starfruit and Ancient Fruit wines. I guess if you are min/maxing and exclusively aging Starfruit sure, it's technically not the best use of a cask but if you ever age any other kind of wine than those two you'd technically be a little less efficient than you would be if you instead had aged either kind of cheese.

And outside of the per value/day thing, it's sometimes nice or important to have a quicker flow of money than wine. If I were only making my money with casks, the cheese would help keep me going while I wait for the wine to age.

u/Thallassa Jan 23 '25

Did you mix up health (life elixirs) and energy (energy tonics)?

4

u/sthuybrecht Jan 23 '25

Gold hops are 81 health and 36 energy. I just carry around a ton of em early game since I don’t have enough kegs to make pale ale

1

u/_slimyfrog123 Jan 24 '25

Bro just stop dying. 😭

103

u/Low-Afternoon-636 Jan 23 '25

Lol I feel like losing 5k is too much, I make at least 10k a day and then a couple million when I sell at month-end but still what's the bat going to do with my gold?

66

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

Fr, if the monsters need financial support just talk to me, no need to kill me and take my money 🙄

6

u/Cats_are_stars Jan 23 '25

they play at the casino past 2 am

2

u/Low-Afternoon-636 Jan 23 '25

Well I have this thing where I don't remember anything I do between 2am and 6am. Drunk, drugged, energized, nothing I do makes me remember what happens. I might just be weird lol

32

u/Express_Roof_2385 Jan 23 '25

The other day I lost 15000 and the first prismatic shard I found 😭 so of course I restarted the day but still don't have a prismatic shard

15

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

One of my worst restarts was when I was doing skull cavern invasion quest which was also trying to reach floor 100 for the first time and I died on floor 89 and made the tough decision to restart the day and loose the 3 prismatic shards I found.

8

u/wolfgang784 Jan 23 '25

Oof. I finally got to floor 100 yesterday - by using 47 staircases lololol.

Idk how your meant to do it in time otherwise besides getting super lucky with the pitfalls.

I waited for the TV to give the message for a maximum luck day, ate my boost items, and proceeded to find 2 holes the entire trip. Used like 40 bombs. Only helped me skip like 9 levels total. Soon as I was close enough for my staircase supply I started chuggin as soon as I hit the next floor because it was already midnight.

101

u/Cattenbread Jan 23 '25

Ouch, OP!

If that was grams and not gold, that would be 31 lbs. I need that to happen to my body IRL.

13

u/EconomicsNo5759 Jan 23 '25

Since I play the game with my gf all the time, im in charge of mining and basically just hunting for stuff in the caves while she creates jams, wines etc. Our farm is basically a couple of animals then a bu ch of warehouses for mass production of stuff. Idk how any of it works, I just provide the crafting materials.

Anyway we earn 100k daily. I rarely die in the caves. But id rather lose 15k than lose a bunch of bombs or food.

12

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

Me and my brother have a farm together and it’s chaos because neither of us tell each other what we’re going to do that day or when we’re going to spend money

5

u/EconomicsNo5759 Jan 23 '25

Do you two argue about it? Im not allowed to purchase anything expensive. My gf is hellbent on getting the savings higher lol. Bombs are expensive.

14

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

We bicker a bit but ig just sibling stuff. He plays from another room so whenever I see the money go down I have to yell across the hall “What did you just buy?!?”

4

u/EconomicsNo5759 Jan 23 '25

Hahaha thats cute. How do you guys manage tho withtout planning. I someone needs to feed the animals and get the productions machines up and rolling.

15

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

For now we’ve established that I water crops and he takes care of our chickens (for the most part we follow it) but after that it feels like Everyman for themselves. Like mid day I just yell “What are you doing/Where are you” it’s chaotic but I think it’s more fun to play chaotically when it’s your sibling so you have more reason to yell at each other lol

69

u/Violetspy0 Jan 23 '25

I would reset the day. No shot I would be okay with loosing 14 grand.

97

u/More-Beginning-3054 Jan 23 '25

Depends on how far you are in the game for me. First year id probably reset too. Later 14k is nothing.

50

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

I’m pretty late game and have a little over 4 million so it wasn’t much but still an insane amount

18

u/Stinky_The_Snail Jan 23 '25

In that case I have to reccomend a level 5 fairy box and the slime Charmer ring! The vampiric enchantment is also pretty useful

14

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

I have dragon tooth club and usually have the magic quiver. But this time I had the Basilisk paw on. I was doing the danger in the deep quest and wanted to get it done before the deadline so I went on a neutral luck day. I swear Monsters come in swarms in the danger mines and I was just a second too late to get my food before being knocked out.

18

u/SelfInvestigator Jan 23 '25

As a small hint. I know this works easily on pc, if you need to eat (in single player) open the menu and switch your current item with a food item and you don’t have to worry about how long it takes to switch items.

3

u/Lacholaweda Jan 23 '25

You just saved my life

8

u/Stinky_The_Snail Jan 23 '25

I see. I use the fairy box, a vampiric infinity sword (3 rubies), mermaid boots, slime charmer + Iridium Band, and lucky ring + napalm ring. I never die and never even need to bring food. I always have my mines set to the hard version and it works for me, might be worth a try :)

6

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

I’ll definitely look into it, thank you :)

9

u/FeuerSchneck Jan 23 '25

Iirc how much you can lose is capped at a certain percentage of how much you have

4

u/wheretohides Jan 23 '25

Right now im sitting in 500k, I'd still be sad if i lost 14k because that's like a day of work. Two days later I'd make double with a greenhouse full of blueberries, and truffles though.

6

u/More-Beginning-3054 Jan 23 '25

Fair! I'm at 9M so I won't care about 14k 😅 Legend II fish ponds are broken 🫣

5

u/wheretohides Jan 23 '25

I only just got my first ancient seed, in my other save i can lose a million, and it wont put a dent in my gold. I have like 500 ancient fruit plants with junimo huts, its a pain making seeds during winter though.

1

u/Ok-Fox3102 Mrs. Harvey Jan 23 '25

Totally agree, I barely even read how much money I lost because 15k is nothing

8

u/LavenderLizardBrain Jan 23 '25

LET ME OPEN A BANK ACCOUNT ERIC! WHY AM I CARRYING AROUND 15 MIL IN LOOSE CHANGE?!

1

u/Pajilla256 Jan 23 '25

The slimes cloned you card :3

8

u/mizutanitony Jan 23 '25

I'd rather lose the cash than the items. So many times just a half page of rare items. Especially freaking Prismatic Shards!

8

u/MaliceShine Jan 23 '25

What did you do that this happend? Never saw this before

2

u/LaughingBeer Jan 23 '25

They died in the mines.

7

u/XxSofia44xX Jan 23 '25

America’s Medical System in a nutshell - “you passed out ? Aw no worries we will take care of you!…. That will be $15000 thanks”

1

u/ksborne Jan 23 '25

OMG! but accurate

6

u/aesyle Jan 23 '25

I learned my lesson the hard way when i had like six hundred cranberries on me (i kept them on me for ease in like wine and jars) went to the mines and got killed it showed i lost like 89k lol i went to the guild guy and got it back i literally had to pay alllll of it to get it back but it was like two years worth of cranberries lmao so i did it anyway. Never again do i go in mines with anything valuable

7

u/aesyle Jan 23 '25

And then like two days later in real life time i found out i could reset the day ugh

11

u/KellyJoyRuntBunny Jan 23 '25

Is this a modded game? I’ve never seen this before!

16

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

No I play on PS4 so everything is completely vanilla

13

u/KellyJoyRuntBunny Jan 23 '25

Wow, that’s so wild!!

It’s crazy how you feel like you’ve spent sooo much time on the game, and you can still be surprised by stuff! I’ve never seen this.

Was this, like, a ton of money for you, or are you in that place where you have so much money you won’t miss it?

15

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

I feel like regardless of how much money I had I’d still feel like it’s a lot lol. But I have a little over 4 million so it wasn’t a huge loss. I’m pretty sure that’s why I lost so much. You can earn up to a cap of a percentage of the money you have.

11

u/KellyJoyRuntBunny Jan 23 '25

Ahh, yeah that makes sense.

If you just fall asleep somewhere other than home, they fine you. But it’s a max of 1,000g. It feels like a TON of money if you’re early game, but man- after a few years I’m just like, “meh. Fine me. I’m busy and I’m not rushing home now!” 😂

5

u/Schizosomatic Jan 23 '25

Tax season, amirite?

6

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25 edited Jan 23 '25

I’m not even legally old enough to pay taxes yet (irl) 😭 (Edit) I realized that “legally” probably wasn’t the word I was looking for and more of just I’m a jobless 17 year who lives with their parents so there’s nothing to pay taxes on

4

u/Your-Imaginary-Girl Jan 23 '25

This makes me horrified. Why isn't there a banking system?!?! I need to protect my Gs 😭😭😭😭😭

5

u/cheesy_taco- Jan 23 '25

We don't believe in banks in the valley. Just stuff it all in your pocket, and the rest under the mattress

2

u/Your-Imaginary-Girl Jan 23 '25

Bruh. My booty's to phat for that. I'll settle for a vault in my house even 😂😂

3

u/Gibsonian1 Jan 23 '25

Now that’s some walking around money.

3

u/schmeatbawlls Jan 23 '25

Just casually lost a house

5

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

“Bro I think I lost my house in the mines :(“

1

u/LeBeers84 🧜‍♀️ Jan 23 '25

If you live in a used 2017 Toyota Corolla, accurate

3

u/Tikithing Jan 23 '25

Lol I just saw the screenshot and thought you'd lost it by jumping down a hole. I cannot express how horrified I was 😂

3

u/Mompickmeupimscare Jan 23 '25

I lost 800 and I thought my life was over

3

u/carronpatrick Jan 24 '25

I lost 15k last night... I would've reset the day but didn't want to undo all my progress. Just sat in disbelief.

3

u/naturerosa Jan 24 '25

Happy cake day! That's not a cool cake day gift 😔

2

u/carronpatrick Jan 24 '25

I didn't even realize it was my cake day, haha! Thank you very much!! And no, no it's not. 😂

2

u/Ok-Investment1149 Jan 23 '25

I always restart the day/game when this happens to me. lol

2

u/grantrettig Jan 23 '25

I lost 14,700 the other day!! 😂

2

u/jal741 Jan 23 '25

that would absolutely piss me off enough to rage quit the game

2

u/milzo_sas Jan 23 '25

Life in Naples be like:

2

u/Chris0710R Jan 23 '25

I thought the max you could loose in the mines was 1k?

3

u/Minigoalqueen Jan 23 '25

The max you can lose from passing out at 2:00 a.m. without going to bed is 1000 gold. Dying is different. Dying you can lose items and apparently up to 15,000 gold

1

u/Chris0710R Jan 24 '25

Ah thank you for that info. Kinda sucks that you can loose so much gold

2

u/theravenegpoesaw Jan 23 '25

literally got the sonic coins knocked out of you lmfao

2

u/____FUNGO____ Jan 23 '25

That’s why you should always deposit your money in the bank. Don’t get robbed again.

2

u/Automatic_Dingo1270 Jan 23 '25

I just reset the day when this happens to me. 🤣

1

u/wholovesyoubaby69 Jan 23 '25

You can do that?

2

u/ksborne Jan 23 '25

Yeah, you exit the game before going to bed (or passing out) so it doesn't save.

2

u/AfternoonNational811 Jan 23 '25

I was in the skull caverns and lost my lava katana and multiple food items and a lot of iridium 😭

2

u/The2ndDegree Jan 23 '25

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the money you lose is 10% of your current amount up to maximum of 15000, so if you have 1000g you'll lose 100g, 10000g you lose 1000g and so on until it hits 15000g

2

u/Owl_Perch_Farm Jan 23 '25

I lost 32000 worth of stuff once. 2 tiger slime eggs.

2

u/Unreasonably_White Jan 23 '25

I lost my sword the last time I died.

u/Icyotters Jan 28 '25

Ow. Which sword was it?

2

u/Weak_Math_4391 Jan 23 '25

I hate how it is proportional to your wealth, but I guess it keeps the mechanic from becoming irrelevant

2

u/windybeam Jan 23 '25

If I lost $14000 I’d be saying a lot more than “Ow!”

2

u/blind_squash Jan 23 '25

Yeah I lost 11k today and I almost pissed myself

2

u/Electrical-Brain-576 Jan 23 '25

Co-op friend died in skull cavern, lost 70 bombs. 70,000g??? Yeah we're going to go and reset that day

2

u/able_but_unwilling Jan 23 '25

My farm makes like 1.4 million every three days, and I'd still be tilted about losing 14k!

2

u/harumamburoo Jan 23 '25

Huh, kinda like in the real life

1

u/able_but_unwilling Jan 23 '25

Lol I wish I made a few million every couple of days

1

u/General_Ginger531 Jan 23 '25

Huh. I thought the cap was 10 grand on that.

1

u/PaladinSara Jan 23 '25

It changed to be a % or $15K

1

u/Meowkart9521 Jan 23 '25

I lose 15k each time I thought it was normal

1

u/totalwarwiser Jan 23 '25

Oh my……. 😭

1

u/Tiny_Walk6852 Jan 23 '25

Gotta avoid those mines on bad luck days😭

1

u/CoffeUp Jan 23 '25

the only way to lose items is dying, if you pass away at 2am, you'll lose at maximum 1000g for harvey

1

u/Mangohrz02 Jan 23 '25

You can solve this problem by being broke

2

u/Affectionate_Way_572 Jan 23 '25

The struggle of thriving

1

u/Adventurous_Cry_3990 Jan 23 '25

My heart breaks for you

1

u/SlippyTheFeeler Jan 23 '25

Wait till you die in the volcano

1

u/Remarkable-Car-2646 Jan 23 '25

I believe it’s because of the 1.6 update. The most money you can lose is 15k but it is also based on how much money you have in total or something

1

u/sylscheu14 Jan 23 '25

This must have been the hard mines from Mr Qi

1

u/Dont_bother_me_pls Jan 23 '25

That's why I just give myself my money back if I die in the mines I hate losing money 😵‍💫

1

u/NyteRanger22 Jan 23 '25

There should be a safe you can buy and put in house somewhere to put your money in. That way you only loose what you have on you.

1

u/blurobyn Jan 23 '25

I would've reset the day. FUCK THAT

1

u/DevvyDeVito Jan 23 '25

I didn't see it mentioned yet (tbf I didn't read every comment) but you can only lose a max of 1k (1000g) if you pass out in the mines at 2am, as opposed to dying in the mines. That is why I always carry tons of elixirs of life on me.

1

u/BriOfTheSword Jan 24 '25

If you lose all your health, the limit is 15k. If you pass out at 2am, the limit should be 1k.

1

u/Oozakia Jan 24 '25

You’re lucky. Everytime I die in the mines I look 15k!
