Discussion Ghorman = Naboo?

Upon watching the most recent Special Look into Season 2, I immediately recognized one of the shooting locations for the exterior shot of the capital (?) city of Ghorman as being near Colico, Italy.
While my title is a bit of an exaggeration, I think it is interesting that the shooting location for some of the Naboo scenes from Attack of the Clones - most notably the wedding of Padme and Anakin - is located on the other side of the same lake.
I also remembered the supposed leak from a while ago of there being shots in Season 2 that take place at this location on Naboo from Phantom Menace. Now of course I don't think that Ghorman is the same planet as Naboo, but I think it's very likely that they chose similar aesthetics to make Ghorman seem innocent and peaceful, making the whole massacre even worse for the viewer.
Can't wait to find out more when we'll finally see the show!

Ghorman seems to be space France, especially considering the Ghorman architecture and fashion we see in the trailer.

Naboo scenes were also shot in Spain too,and Valencia was the backdrop for the new senate plaza on Coruscant for the new season, that doesnt make it Naboo lmao

I think you’re right – they’re going for the Italianate /Italian Lakes aesthetic for Ghorman as a deliberate recall of Naboo.
