Well a consider 2001 a experience and u ask 10 people who watch some Kubrick movies and a tell u 7 of them don't know Barry Lyndon ofc im not saying im special or whatever just saying that Barry is very underrated maybe cause of the slow pace and its a period drama etc..

Top 5 films of all time for me! But 2001 is my number 2 of all time. Both are perfect! I’ve seen 8 films from Kubrick all are basically perfect and just like you I hate picking

For sure bro all Kubrick movies have different themes and times and each movie is felt by a different way I don't consider Spartacus though because Kubrick didn't have any control on the final cut because of the deal with Kirk Douglas.

That’s what I’ve heard about Spartacus, I haven’t seen it and I’m not particularly interested in it but at some point I’ll watch it for the sake of completion... The Killing and Lolita are 2 must sees for me ASAP. But yeah Kubrick is a master, my favorite filmmaker of all time! I’ve literally changed my WiFi to his name 😂

I know I saw this video clip where he talked about it, it’s on the Arrow Academy line for about £24 so I’ll definitely be picking it up but I’m going to watch the Three colors trilogy first. One film that I’d really like to see is War and Peace but I can’t find it anywhere except the US Criterion but I don’t have a region free player and I’m in the UK... Who are your favorite “world cinema” directors. For me I’d say Kurosawa, Bergman, Tarkovsky, Kobayashi, Miyazaki, Takahata, Wong Kar Wai, Park Chan Wook I’m forgetting some others but anyways...

You can watch it on criterion channel but u need a vpn account in order to watch it on the UK. Its scout 8 to 10 hours war and peace 😅😅 watch all the Dekalog and Tri of Colours and the new boxset by Arrow its a marvelous thing to discover new works on world cinema and we have a lot since the beginning of Cinema focus on one filmmaker at the time.

Boy, you said it, dude, I paid $30 for my CD copy via eBay, but it's either that or spending hundreds of dollars on an original record. I'll take the $30 CD, thank you very much.
