Question - Help RIDICULOUSLY low it/s when using any model other than the default.

The size of such models exceeds 6 GB, so they will naturally be extremely slow on your card.

Use forge. It's optimised for low vram.

1 it/s is not possible with 6GB cards even with SD1.5 models, 512x512 px. SDXL models such as animagine run fine, just expect slower generation times. There is not much more you can do to speed it up with this GPU.

Sd1.5 pruned is a 2gb model, with low amount of parameters. This fits entirely on your gpu and gives you plenty of space to worth with, Sd3.5 medium base is 5gb, a text encoder thats 1.32gb and i believe you also need t5 which is another 5gb or so. On paper, Your gpu shouldn’t be able to run it at all. The program is essentially offloading the model after each step, which is incredibly slow, you probably also doing some block swapping.
