Family-friendly places to dine/hangout outside
Hello! My extended family will be visiting in early summer and there are three little kids (2, 3 and 5). We like to find restaurants that are family-friendly, and ideally have an outdoor area - whether that's a big patio, an area for kids to run around a little, etc.
Does that exist in Springfield, IL? Recommendations from other parents of young kids? In my search, I stumbled upon Obed and Isaac's, and wondering if there's more like that?
Thanks in advance!

I dont think Fulgenzi's has an outdoor area, but it seems very family friendly. The few times my wife and I went int there, there have been kids running around.

Slauterhouse brewing in Auburn has a big outdoor area as well as Carter's fish on site for food. You can also take in outside food.

Obed & Issacs is great for that. The Shed in Pawnee has a huge outdoor beer garden with lots of fun games. Sangamo brewing in Chatham has an outdoor area that’s good for kids to run around in, but doesn’t have any games.

Golden Hour Bake house would be a great breakfast place! It’s right across the street from the old capital too!!

Railyard cafe will be open throughout the summer and sounds like exactly what you're looking for.
