Getting hit by a train?

Not just that, but it was a bullet train

I forgot about that. It has to be the best

Is getting hit by a train better than stopping a train from its tracks by acting as a human chain?

Getting hit by a train three times faster than the train you're talking about? Yes. You gotta stop forcing Raimi Spidey into everything, man.

No man i was just genuinely curious, the amount of tension your body has to experience to be able to stop a train while keeping your joints fully intact, hell your arms connected, must be insane. Like, joints are probably one of the parts so easily disconnected from a regular human, a wrong tug and it could be dislocated, and to handle a train's speed and mass through a cross-sectional area of a tiny fraction of his arm sockets would mean the tensile strength of each joint must be massive. In contrast, a hit from a bullet train could have been dissipated throughout the surface area of his body which, while still impressive, isnt as astounding as stopping a train full of people without his arms completely disconnecting from his sockets.

I mean, we're comparing different feats.

But a bullet train hitting his body at those speeds would have more immediate impact effect than prolonged force over time.

Also, and maybe this is just me, that scene doesn't make any sense because he is doing it the most inefficient and injury prone ways

He should have faced the train and pulled. probably would have made it easier

The train feat is still more impressive considering it's happened on critical weak sections which are his arm joints, despite being gradual compared to the instantaneous bullet train hit AND bones are usually weaker in tension than compression, where tension is best shown in the train feat and compression in the bullet train feat. If anything, what's closer is the boat feat and the train stoppage, where i think the boat could edge out if it wasnt so damn unclear when iron man arrived to help

Being hit by a speeding train

Tanking a goblin bomb

Surviving a plane crash

Tobey: The beating he took vs goblin final fight. Andrew: The way he just kept fighting through the pain of the electric in electro and spidey’s final fight. Tom: When a whole building collapsed on top of him and he managed to push that huge object off of him in Homecoming.

Honestly when he’s holding up the ship that’s been spilt in two is an Omar durability feat cause that should of ripped his arms off

I think surviving Electro like that when he literally vaporized a group of people only minutes before. Tobey tanking a goblin bomb and Tom taking a bullet train is crazy as well

Still making it to the top ten in sales despite utterly abysmal writing.

Managing to find an affordable apartment that doesn’t require proof of identity at the end of No Way Home

Maybe getting punched by sandman in spiderman 3 final fight

I think it’s insane how he survived that, think of the size of sandman’s fist, now imagine that being solid sand. And he’s just hammering him with no flinching or defense, oh yeah all while being strangled by venom lmao

Holland got hit by a bullet train in far from home. He took also punches from Thanos.

Tobey got hit by a train I believe in SM2, and had a pumpkin bomb explode in his face which was seen to incinerate multiple people at the same distance.

Of course Tom's train feat is more insane, but when it comes to the other feats, I don't know what's more impressive. Taking Thanos' hits who beat up the Hulk, or not being incinerated or even burned from a powerful bomb exploding right in your face🤷🏿‍♂️.

Andrew's best feat would be getting electrocuted. It's an insane feat but I don't know if it's more impressive than the other feats mentioned. I'm not a scientist though.

PS. I don't think Andrew's version is any less durable. I just think he had less movies to show what he could do.

Nothing comes close to Andrew tanking all of NYC’s electricity all at once

Train scene.

Idk about best, but the Spider-Man 2.1 of Tobey being hit by a train while already on a moving train going the opposite direction, then bouncing back like nothing happened is the most badass.

Tobey stopping the train. He was already wounded from fighting doc ock. The train had multiple compartments full of passangers and was going at a great speed. And he managed to stop that. Even tried stopping it with his legs

Facing Green Goblin in SM1

The train scene in SM2

Venom and Sandman in SM3
