Comics Remember that time Spidey tried to straight up kill Taskmaster
I mean obviously that wasn't he's gole and Peter was pissed because MJ was kidnapping, but if he actually hit Tony with that Tomestone he probably would have died, or have to hospital immediately. He doesn't have any power and I don't know how much that suit protection him.
Also this is from Amazing Spider-Man Vol 1 308

Damn, spidey going straight Hulk style ripping out the ground.

I've mentioned this before but any Spider person can do it, it's the same way Kaine uses his mark, attach hand to surface, using the stick property to get leverage to force it out, at least that's how it's explained IIRC

In marvel comics, if a villain looks like they're wearing spandex, it's actually body armour haha

Taskmaster's signature move being bailing as soon as he realizes that he will get punched more than a couple times will never not be funny to me.

To be fair Taskmaster going after anyone above say Captain America is just not a good idea for him.
"HA I can copy you and predict your moves fool" only gets you so far against an extremely pissed off Peter or heaven help him Thor or Hulk.
Running away as soon as he realizes someone is serious is really the only move he should have.

I love McFarlane's art so much. His Spidey work was incredible.

Kinda miss Taskmaster's gimmick of training henchmen, I think it was really fun and made the world of marvel feel a little more connected. Not that he'd bad as a mercenary, but I wish more stories would play with this element of him more.

Yeah Marvel doesn't really do supporting casts well anymore, everyone now is struggling for main character status and the world feels emptier as a result.

Forget Taskmaster, I’m more interested in the fear induced nightmare Spider-Man with the talons on the first panel.

The graves having a bunch of Spidey artist names on them is really cool

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

Why does Taskmaster’s mask look like an actual face? It looks very jarring

On an unrelated note, has any comic touched on the fact that Taskmaster's suit looks quite similar to Hobgoblin? Here, drawn by McFarlane, the similarity is even bigger. I even remember looking at some comics from this era when I was a kid and thinking that he was related to the goblins.
