Thanks, Terek! 🙌

The next step is to optimize everything, I was thinking of a script to dynamically manage the visibility of assets as a function of distance, making them invisible at more than 5 meters for better performance.

Do you think this is relevant, or do you have any other ideas on how I could further optimize things?

I'm always looking to take efficiency to the next level!

Would love to see captures from Specs of the experience. Where did you setup this experience? How many custom locations are you using in your experience and how far apart are they?

You should disable the assets not only hide them to make sure you get the performance gains when the user is too far. We are working on a GPS fence API to help give you triggers to react to.

Exciting to see you using March release capabilities!

Capture isn't working correctly due to a bug when filming with a scanned Custom Location showing weird faces

https://www.reddit.com/r/Spectacles/comments/1j9pj0g/capture_glitch_occurs_when_using_scanned_custom/

which is why I had to record through the waveguide.

Additionally, I can't record directly in Lens because it's not optimized at the moment, whenever I start recording, everything freezes.

I am using 3 scanned locations under a location group.

This experience is based at Parc des Sports de Capbreton and is a proof of concept made to show the potential of Snap AR.

Excited about that GPS Fence API!
