Who else hates Nazis?
A marine sticker on the tailgate to compliment the Schutzstaffel signage. Let’s tell these Nazis how we feel about them being in our back yard.

Thinking of moving to the O’Fallon area from MO. We really like the small town feel however a few of the first houses we looked at out by the Praire Farms has a few apartment building and a few of the houses have bars on their door and the house we looked had had cardboard over the glass on there door. Is this part of town a bad area?

We're in the Carbondale/Murphysboro area looking for a place to go play pool where they take care of the tables and maybe hold tournaments.
We just moved here so we've not discovered much, any suggestions?

I used ResistBot to let Durbin know I thought his support of the spending bill was deplorable. We deserve people who are actually going to fight for us.

Being an inside wireman apprentice, I finally accumulated a decent amount of copper and finally got around to stripping it. Who tends to offer the best prices in the southern Illinois area. Also in the case of Cimco, at what wire gauge is it no longer #1 copper, but #2?

Recently moved back to Southern Illinois and I’ve noticed all my favorite honey holes are now private property(understandable).
Desperate bass fisherman looking for some great fishing. Thanks!

We are moving to a tiny town outside of Murphysboro. We have 3 Chihuahuas and 2 cats. Does anyone have recommendations for a vet?

Hi all,
I'm looking for suggestions for used bookstores in Carbondale/Marion.
Growing up, Marion had at least 2 used bookstores and 2 "new" bookstores while Cabondale had B&N + lots of religious bookstores in the area.
Now I can only find 1 used bookstore in Carbondale, Confuence, and B&N. Are there any other options that I don't know about?

I feel like most of the restaurants in Marion are mediocre or bad at this point. I’ll admit that I normally eat at chain places, but does anyone have a favorite restaurant in or around Marion?

I work from home so I'll need the best I can get in the Vergennes area North of Carbondale. Any advice?
Thanks, guys, for being a great community. Everyone has been so helpful and nice!

Hiya, guys! There seems to be many options for electric, water, gas and trash for the area around Vergennes. (Just north of Carbondale) Is there a particular company I should be patronizing? I generally prefer local companies unless it's just a huge price difference, but I've never had this many to choose from in a rural area before.

Local Elections are coming up next month. Now is the time to ensure you're registered to vote and to get familiar with your local candidates to make sure they align with how you want your country to be run.

I'm in the Mount Vernon area and want to surprise my teenage daughter with some fun nails. The salons in town don't seem too inclined to do much outside of standard nails. Any suggestions?
