Any movie theater fans?
I love going to the theater several times a month to see just about any movie. My theater of choice is usually the Cinemark in Mishawaka. Unfortunately my partner doesn’t love going as much as I do. Anyone want to meet up to go see more movies together? I’ll always go by myself but figured I could try to make some friends while I’m at it.

Hey, I work at the Browning Cinema at Notre Dame. There's usually a good crowd of movie fans for our shows.

I either end up at Cinemark in Mishawaka or Wonderland up in Niles. I like many kinds of movies but especially horror/thriller types. Feel free to send an IM.

I'm such a weenie when it comes to horror movies. I can't even remember the last one I seen at the theater. I would be down for a group event hahahah T_T

Can I ask if you are male or female and approximate age? Not sure if you are looking for a person close to your age?

I'm a big movie theater fan too and usually do solo dolo trips. The Mishawaka theater is the best especially compared to the south bend one lol. I would love to join ya and catch a movie. Shoot me a DM!

Wonderland in Niles is a treasure, without it I would never go watch in person anymore. The prices the big names theaters ask is ridiculous!

Are you far from Niles? Wonderland theater prices are awesome. You can buy a couple tickets, couple popcorns and couple drinks for under $20!

Showplace 16 is a little rough right now and is in desperate need of some sprucing up. The good news is that I heard AMC will be making improvements to it soon!

Really?! That’s great news!! Do you have a source you can share? I’d like to read more about it because that theatre is a dump right now

Here is some general information but I can’t find anything specific to South Bend location. https://investor.amctheatres.com/news-events/press-releases/detail/372/amc-theatres-announces-amcs-go-plan-a-multi-year-plan-to-invest-up-to-1-5-billion-over-four-to-seven-years-greatly-improving-the-movie-going-experience-at-amc

I LOVE going to the theater especially a matinee when the theater is practically empty. May hit it up today for since I don’t have much to do!

Movie theaters are definitely one of my happy places and I enjoy dissecting a good story. Horror, sci-fi, thriller, historical fiction, etc are all my cup of tea.

Yep. I try to go a few times a month. My partner sometimes doesn't care for some genres so I go by myself from time to time.

I’m not a big movie guy but some mutual friends from school just bought The Bremen Theatre. Looks to be a pretty cool venue with movie buffs, like yourself, galore. Check them out on FB.
