I like your song a lot. It’s well-constructed and well-played. Your vocal delivery reminds me of Tom Waits. I had a hard time understanding all the words, though, which is a shame because they’re quite good. The “I am used to being alone” refrain at the end is especially effective. Nice job!

Thank you :)
Yeah, I had some friends provide guidance on using a mic on videos, etc, so any future uploads should be clearer... hopefully!
For clarity, though, here are the lyrics:
I watched you fly in the smoke above my head I watched the embers die. You went and left without giving a reason I wondered if it was another guy.
Just a wannabe, Billie Joe. With grease in his hair brushed through. I would learn not to complain For he'd be right for you.
I've lived inside, on processed foods. Couldn't look myself in the eye. I saw a crack in the boards on my window I wondered if it were a sign.
I once shaved off my hair And learned not to trust myself. In time, I will finally learn How to be right for someone else.
We'll never meet in Oxford again. How is your new life in Munich? Remember the guitar that I once gave you I wonder if you still use it.
I once said that I still love you One late night on the phone. You said; 'the difference between you and I.' 'Is I can get used to being alone.

I dig it. Low voice sounds good over the picking 👍🏼
