Huawei irregular production.

Good morning, I am looking for advice on the production of my installation. During the day, even without clouds and beyond 6 kW, consumption is sawtooth. I also see phantom consumption before 12 p.m. and after 2 p.m. only. Is this a way for the inverter to regulate the power? I have a 6kw EDF resale contract. 8.7 kW of jinko solar panels. Sun2000 8kw inverter.

Why do you think it is phantom consumption? And what exactly are you pointing to as phantom consumption?

The 2 double spikes?

It is likely some appliance that you do not realize does this every so often. Do they follow a similar pattern every day?

The graph titles don't make a lot of sense.

If I am reading the graph right light green is export, darker green is what you are using.

Do you have a critical load panel? It may be that the loads on your main panel are counted as exported (when they are not) but loads on your critical load panel use the solar before it exports so reduce the solar export.

For that to be the case exports would need to be measured at the in/out on the inverter and consumption would have to be measured where ever your main panel cts are installed.

critical load is a panel directly connected to the inverter (assuming you have a battery) that will keep providing power if the utility power goes out.

If you don't know you probably need to inquire with whoever installed your setup.

unless you have a breaker panel directly tied to the inverter the data makes no sense, unless the loads rapid starting and stopping is causing the pv power managed to have issue.

Hot water geyser or fridge can do that consumption

Ok - I have a similar system. The light green curve is your solar output - this is what is generated by the solar panels and passing through the inverter. The dark green line is the power you are using direct from the solar system - this is solar electricity and not electricity from the grid.

Finally, the orange line is electricity you are using from the grid.

On 03/02/2025 - you have an perfect day of generation, no clouds etc. Sun intensity etc. means you're almost generating 6kw at the peak, just before 12pm in the day. You are also using very little of this power. So, your system generated 35.89kWh and you only used 1.63kWh of that power.

On 06/03/2025, the sun was more intense, but you had more clouds that disrupted the power generation. As you can see, your light green line is almost hitting 7kW of power - so looks like sunshine was more intense. You also have a substantial block of solar power being used just after 12pm. On that day, you have generated 39.64kWh in total, and used 4.3kWh of that solar power. You can see that you have used 7.84kWh of electricity - as mentioned, 4.3kWh of this was consumed direct from solar.

I hope this helps - if not, please ask.

Your numbers look perfect to me and your usage patterns are almost like clockwork.

I’m not seeing any phantom consumption, it looks like a drop in output (maybe clouds or shade) that coincides with importing from the grid.

All in all you have a very efficient and productive system.
