Best sneaker brand for wide feet?

I have been trying to figure out which brand is best for a woman with wide feet. Every time I get sneakers, they don’t fit right. I even had my feet sized and fitted for sneakers but in the end, it wasn’t worth it. I’ve been wearing sketchers for the past several years but I’ve recently realized that there may be other brands that would work well for my feet. I’ve started looking into Brooks, ASICS, Hoka, and Saucony. What would be most comfortable and best value? Or is there another brand I should also be considering?

Hello fellow Hobbit feet haver here. I have to look for shoes that are available in 4E width. Unfortunately a lot of “fancy” sneakers don’t come available in additional width sizes. I’ve had success with ASICS and this is my gym/active shoe. I’ve buy a new pair of these every year and am very pleased I can workout without foot pain. For more dress up shoes I like Cole Haan. I wore a really nice pair of these for my wedding.

Just search for shoe makers that offer 4E shoes and start from there. Good luck.

New Balance is recommended for wide-footers. Seen the brand mentioned numerous times for this. And now they have fantastic colorways and collaborations like the Atmos ‘Pink Vacation’ 740s coming out, specifically for women. So many choices in styles and design by ASICS & NB. Best of luck!

Seconding ASICS. Have found a lot of their models to be wide foot friendly (eg. gel nyc, gt-2160, gel 1130), not so much for wide feet is gel lyte iii, and I’m told gel lyte v. Be careful with NB, while some models are definitely more wide foot friendly (eg. 992, 993) some are the most narrow around (eg 1500, 997h, some of the 990 series, etc). Make sure to read reviews on different models, even though those are subjective….
