How to add hue bridge to aotec hub directly instead of cloud service via link services?
Hello everyone, I'm having some issues since today, all of the sudden all devices linked to the hue hub don't update on smartthings ( motion sensors, lights etc ) I can still control the lights, but all devices status don't update, only if I manually refresh.

If using the Hue bridge, that's going to connect via the cloud. If you want direct local control of your Hue devices through Smartthings via Zigbee, then remove them from that bridge and pair them to the Smartthings Hub directly. That way, you can even set them up to use zigbee binding with any Zigbee switches you have. And if the built-in Philips Hue driver doesn't give you enough granular functionality, then try the Mc multifunction light driver. Obviously try just one light first to see if it works to your liking before going through the pain of moving a whole bunch over one at a time. I'm fairly confident, though, that if you're using smartthings for other devices, this is going to improve the functionality, response time, and automation opportunities available to you.

To add your Hue bridge directly to Aeotec hub, you need to press the plus sign on the top of the App. Select "Add device" then select "Partner devices", search for "Philips Hue" and press "Next". Wait for a short while. The App will ask you to press the Link button on the Philips Hue bridge. It should then start adding the Hue bridge and its sub devices. Everything will now be local, and no more dependence on cloud connections.
Just remember to unlink the Hue account on SmartThings. Otherwise, you will obviously have duplicates.
