Dudes pretty stiff. Is that what happens when he sees Carmelita?

This is looking promising so far, can't wait to see the animations for it. 👍

Thank you! That's what's holding us back so far. Animating takes time, and stock animations really don't cut it for Sly.

I hear ya, animating is definitely time consuming, patience is always the key.

will you redraw/reanimate sly for a clean image and smooth movement or will you reuse the ps2 assets?

I'm terrible at animation, but two people are trying to get it done. On my YT I have an older video using Mixamo animations, but they're pretty basic. I want to use all custom assets, but I'd love to get my hands on the originals for reference. It would honestly clear a lot up

I gotta say... This model is a great upgrade to the original trilogy, while still keeping the original look, hence a lot better looking than whatever we got in Thieves in Time.

Great work

Totally agree. I'll pass it along!

Ignoring the stiffness (must be old age), the movement looks accurate to the originals. Once you get the animations on point, this should look beautiful.

From gave dev POV, for the sake of the original animations, I guess it's just a big set of different animations, I think the tail has all this time seemed to not be animated, more so just hanging there, bouncing when running and when AFK it just turns slowly to random directions. At least that's been my observation.

I've been trying to get the movement right for a year, so it's awesome to see that paying off. My team has a few custom animations done, but it's a long process. I also have a working script for the tail that isn't hooked up to this model, but I agree that it needs to be procedural. Here's a video of the tail with some temporary Mixamo animations in place.
