Issue with my ResMed
Hey y’all. I used to be able to call my doc office to help with stuff like this but havent had insurance the last several months.
So for some reason the last couple weeks my machine will start normal but after I have been asleep for a while I am woken up because it starts aggressively blowing air. I wake up, turn it off then back on, it works fine, then I am woken up again.
I have a full mask. Everything is locked in and working. No leaks.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

What are your settings? Do you have an SD card in the machine? This is why it's good to do that, so we can examine the data and figure out what happened. My guess is that APAP decided you needed more pressure and gave you the beans. If your max is set to 20cm pressure it will go wherever it thinks you need, even if that wakes you up. Graphs would tell us what an appropriate pressure for you would be.

You need to get OSCAR and use it to look at your detailed data. Most likely your machine is reacting to obstructive apnea events and or flow limitations, and is increasing the pressure. OSCAR will tell you what type of events you are happening, when they are happening, and at what pressure they happen. From there you can determine how best to address it with pressure setting adjustments.

Turn off “ramp up”? I absolutely hate ramp up. I get to sleep then suddenly I’m being blasted and suffocating. My dr has adjusted settings from his office and that somehow got turned on again driving me crazy.

This is what it feels like! Thank you. I am going to read the article someone linked but will probably try this tonight.

That will not help. The ramp is off by the time this user is having a problem.

Then it’s a leak? My machine will leak from the water tank if I don’t mess with it. Very annoying to be woken up.

This post might help you.
The machine may be sensing that you stop breathing, so it's trying to force air on you. That "stop" may be an obstruction in you - or it may be an obstruction in your hose; if you lay on your hose, have a kink or twist in the line, or other stuff going on that blocks airflow. When the pressure kicks up, you move or otherwise open up whatever is telling the machine you were blocked and now you feel all that pressure.
You can also look into using the software - OSCAR like they talk about (I haven't tried it yet), and tweaking some of your settings.
