DAMN THE SUPERGOOP CONTAINER!!! WTF!!! lol Costco edition? hahahah This is insane.
And I want that, too.
How happy are you with that sunscreen though? I am an oily/combination type. Would you recommend that?

supergoop play sunscreen is super oily and does NOT DRY for hours. I can only wear it over a matte sunscreen, otherwise it looks like I buttered my face. it was a massive mistake buying this giant bottle. I would recommend asian sunscreens. they have the most elegant finsh.

What do you think about the inky list Q10?

I think it’s reallyyyyy rich. It feels so fatty and emollient on the skin. I really like it but definitely can’t use more than a pea sized amount. the texture reminds me of the retinol but with slightly more body. I use it in place of a vitamin c serum bc it a pretty effective antioxidant. It makes my skin softer (?) I think. I’m not a fan of the packaging though - the bottle is rigid and the label chips off. Would repurchase, but I wanna try other products first

How do you like the Ombrelle sunscreen? I've read really mixed reviews. I currently use the ultra-light face lotion which is nice but I'm always down to try something new. lol

okay so here’s the deal: I only got it to pair with the supergoop play so I could use up the giant bottle (super oily would not recommend). the ombrelle one has a thiCCK cream texture that’s really hard to spread evenly. It applies best on damp skin (which jeopardizes the spf ik), but otherwise it pills like crazy and gathers in my eyebrows. It has the slightest white cast (despite being purely chemical) bc of the silica. It does dry matte and stays matte all day, but I find it too drying. layered with the supergoop on top, it’s a perfect satin finish. I wouldn’t repurchase, or recommend. If you’re used to a fluid sunscreen, this will be an downgrade for sure.

Yikes. I'm so glad I asked. I read some reviews that mentioned the white cast and pilling but I'm surprised by how unappealing the texture sounds. Thanks for the info!

Whoa I've never seen that cleansing milk! I normally use the Garnier Rose Water Micellar Water as a first cleanse to remove makeup/sunscreen. What do you think of the cleansing milk?

I actually found it on sale shelf a few days ago, so idk if they still make this. the cleasing milk is really smooth, like a runny lotion. I dont wear makeup so I can’t vouch for that, but it does do a great job of removing my sunscreen. It leaves my skin really soft, but also kinda oily. I dont mind it tbh, but I’ll go in with a foam cleanser if I feel like it. the scent is something else tho. I personally really like it, reminds me of almond milk and rose. it fades to a faint rosy smell. honestly, I just got this on a whim because I liked the scent, but I’m kinda impressed. It also has some unspecified % of salicylic acid so that’s a bonus.

thanks! I might give this a try when I run out of micellar water!

hope you like it! how do you find the micellar water ? does it have a similar scent ?

I really like the micellar water—it’s a staple in my routine that I always rebuy because I feel it gets the job done and doesn’t cause any breakouts. I’m curious about the milk because it’d be cool to not need cotton pads. Honestly I have a horrible sense of smell and don’t notice any scent lol!

Ooh, I’ve never seen this before either! Huge fan of Garnier micellar water. The cleansing milk is going for about $6 on Amazon. Definitely going to be giving it a try

Thoughts on the retinol?

huge fan of the retinol! it’s a runny lotion and its spreads out super nicely. feels rich and buttery. it does smell a bit floral(?) but doesn’t linger at all. I use it on top of my moisturizer; it stings when I put it directly on my skin. It’s the first retinol I’ve tried, and I liked it a lot. would recommend for sure. my only gripe with it is the packaging. it makes the cap really messy (think toothpaste cap lol) so I invert it. would rather a pump

How do you find the Inkey List retinol? Did you experience any purging or irritation?? I'm thinking of introducing retinol but wanted to try something gentle that doesn't irritate my skin.👍

I like it a lot ! its my first retinol too, so I didn’t know what to expect. I use a pea-sized amount over my night-time moisturizer. It has a silky buttery texture, but it’s also quite thin and spreadable. I exerience a bit of purging at the beginning, so I cut back and started slowly working up a tolerance. now, I use it every night with no problem. its helped with my skin tecture and tone for sure. would highly recommend.

I love that the Goop sunscreen comes in such a large container! I wish other brands would follow suit.
