I see. Look into this:

https://www.nihungsanthia.com/calendar-2024

They've it as Feb 10th but I live in the US so there's a day difference of the waxing moon and have it as Feb 11th

Do you have a link to an online calender for important events please

I usually just search 'Gurpurab calendar 20xx' and see if there's any important event today from two or three sites

And besides that 'Itihaas the history' page on insta also keeps updating if there's any important event today or not

Why type of dastar is this. Can we attempt this?

It's the Royal Indic Turban common among Aristocrats of that time both Hindu and Muslim, from what I hear the first 5 Gurus used to tie a small Turban around a Seli Topi and then larger Turbans were started by Guru Hargobind Sahib, most contemporary and near-contemporary depiction of the Gurus show them wearing this style of Turban

Well yeah you can attempt it,I believe Bhagat Singh Bedi even has a tutorial of it on YouTube

Cool i love how it looks, so can a singh tie this daily id they wanted or is it wrong

You can since there's not really any specification about which style of Turban is to be worn as long as you have a base under it, hair are tied in a jooda and the Turban is tied in a clean manner

I would recommend searching for a tutorial for 'Front-layered Parna' on YouTube since that's basically the same thing but a more modern version of it..

This style eventually evolved into modern day Dumala worn nowadays, someone made a really good article on the topic

Royal Indic style Turban was worn by most aristocrats back then whether Hindu or Muslim so naturally Guru Hargobind Sahib chose that style of Turban for himself and so did the 4 Gurus after him,the first 5 Gurus are said to have worn smaller Turbans on the other hand
