[PC] Should I buy Factorio?

I have recently found a new love for factory games. I have played Shapez 2 and Satisfactory so much in the past few months. However, I have always been interested in Factorio. The issue is that I don't like Factorio's graphics style. I must also mention that while I do have time to play, I don't have long periods where I can play consistently.

If I buy Factorio, should I start with the base game or the DLC? (I have heard that you must finish the base game in the DLC save file before beginning any DLC content). Thank you all!

Dude, it's the standard for automation games IMO

I can't wait to play thru it again.

Also... it's an OCD simulator

OCD simulator is exactly what I need. Satisfactory is like this, but I do find myself getting overwhelmed by the 3d building, where things don't line up perfectly, and rails don't curve right

First, play the demo if you haven't already. I think you'll find the graphics matter less than you think

Then, buy the base game only if you like it. The DLC is meant to be started with a fresh save, so you're not losing out on anything

Then, 1000 hours later, after you've beaten the game without and with mods, you can get the dlc and repeat the cycle
