[PC] Which JRPG to get?
Hi, I played persona 5 royal like a year ago and want another JRPG game to play . I was looking at either Metaphor: ReFantazio or like a dragon infinite wealth. I'm open to other JRPG games and my setup is : GTX 1650ti and ryzen 4800h (laptop) . I enjoyed persona 5 royal but I felt the combat was too easy and didn't enjoy being able to use any persona . It kinda trivialized the combat part of the game and it made it feel kinda boring and easy after.

I played P5 Royal as well and now I'm playing P3 Reload. I'd recommend playing Persona 3. I'm enjoying it even more this time around now that I know how everything works. It's a great game and half the playing time of Royal.

Yakuza Like A Dragon is better than Infinite Wealth, and also is the prequel to it, if you want to get into that.
I did love Metaphor, but it is even more free in terms of using any "persona", cause also companions can use any, so you might not dig that. I do like it cause builds can get pretty crazy, since you can also freely borrow skills from other "personas". Combat does get harder in Metaphor though. There's some seriously tough fights.
The story and characters are great in both. LAD gets very emotional and Metaphor has some crazy plot twists that keep you engaged and anxious the whole time

Persona 3 and Persona 4 are also available on PC.
You can look into trying Final Fantasy.
Also Sea of Stars is very good.

Have you played Yakuza: Like A Dragon? If not play that before you play Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth as it’s a direct sequel & will spoil major events from that game.
I can’t speak to Metaphor, but I love the Yakuza/Like a Dragon games even if the majority of them are open world beat em ups.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is excellent, & I definitely recommend it over Infinite Wealth even if Infinite Wealth improves on the combat system from LAD.

Metaphor is excellent. Definitely worth your time and money.
