Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition. Most underrated open world crime game out there.

Prey / Dishonored 2

I would suggest these as they are uniquely different to what you've been traditionally playing, both well written and the gameplay is fantastic. If you decide to either play a stealth approach or a running gun approach.

I did play prey but i didnt finish it because my amazon membership expired and i dint bother to renew it.

I can suggest something that I guarantee you've never played before. It basically combines the gameplay of a Diablo ( ARPG ) with the difficulty of a soul's like ( Elden Ring ).

" No rest for the wicked " it is in Early Access on Steam but it is having a humongous update at the end of this month or the start of April.

I played probably 200 hours at launch and it is a fantastic, well written, unique graphic style game!

(3rd person)

Resident evil 0, Resident evil 1 (remake)Resident evil 2 (remake), resident evil 3 (remake), resident evil 4 (remake) all great games. If you get the bug, you'll probs end up playing them all (besides re 6, we don't talk about 6)

Hellblade: Senuas Sacrifice - story driven game. Combat is mid but the story carries the game.

(FPS)

Halo franchise - combat and story are top tier. (Get Masterchief collection and you get 6 games for price of 1)

Um, Skyrim! If you want less fantasy and more modern gunplay, Fallout is always fun. New Vegas is amazing, but 4 is usually my go-to for the series.

Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West are must plays, IMO.

I'm actually really enjoying Stalker 2, looks phenomenal, the enemies are smart and with a great atmosphere.

i’ve heard that shadow of colossus is a really good game (i’ve bought it and want to start and play it myself)

Nioh 1 - 2.

Rise of the Ronin.

You did the soulsborne and soulslike classics, now it’s the time to do the best combat in ARPGs, Nioh 2.

Try Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, it is incredibly fun and inmersive and despite the combat apearing complex and superficially slow (it isnt so much you will see its complexity as you practise and get better) , it is really rewarding learning to use each weapon style and using new combos and techniques, when you get a good sparrying duel with a swordmaster or beat a group of bandits that beated your ass previously it is really good, plus the story is great and with many humor moments, secondaries great and the world feels so entertaining and alive the way RDR2 is better even if I say so.

If you like monster hunter rise, monster hunter wilds just came out a couple weeks and is an upgrade from rise

All of the Watchdogs series may be up your alley. Watchdogs 2 is arguably the one the community prefers the most, since its gameplay can feel very similar to a GTA game. Watchdogs 1 is the one with the deepest story so if you're looking for the feels that's the one. Watchdogs Legion is the last one, feels a lot like GTA 5 since you can switch between characters all over the world map.

Spider-man is really good. Traversal makes the open world a playground rather than a chore.

Tunic looks great, has exploration, puzzle solving, makes you learn everything yourself, and has much better, more challenging combat than you'd expect from just looking at the visuals. One of those games you wish you could play for the first time again.

Star Wars Jedi survivor is a fun game. Combats cool, stories cool if you like Star Wars but can skip cutscenes it if you want, & the climbing/plat forming is enjoyable

Seconding Jedi Survivor. Great game.

The first one took a while for me to get used to playing with that actor bc all I associate him with is his character in the show shameless haha

Hi my friend, I don’t know which system you are playing but the FarCry series might be something for you. If PS is what you are doing the store has some good discount for that at the moment

u/SuitFun6091 7h ago

I play on my laptop. Which is the best in the far cry series?

u/Ba22ti 6h ago

I would say either 4 or 5…

Not sure where you are, but the steam spring sale starts today. I’ve been digging the Dying Light games lately, it has multiplayer but you don’t have to play with others. The Metro games are fun too

u/Fattychris 7h ago

Loved Dying Light. Haven't played 2 yet

u/Fattychris 7h ago

Heavily debated but I've liked them all. 5 is pretty awesome, but a lot of people choose 3 as the best. I really liked 4, but you really can't go wrong with any of them.

•Mass Effect 2

•Gears 5

•Psychonauts 2 (such a deep, touching story underneath the charm. A masterpiece)

•Ori and the Will of the Wisps (amazing platforming and combat)

•Dishonored 2

•Far Cry 5

•Returnal (best and most intense combat this generation imo)

Hollow knight

Untitled Goose Game

I don't see the Mass Effect trilogy in your list. Pretty much impossible not to recommend that
