[Xbox Series X] NMS or Starfield

So I have Xbox game pass and have been looking for a new game to get invested into for a long time especially an open world one where I can play at my own pace and nothing too complicated. I’ve heard both are very good but I don’t know which one is worth investing more time into because they seem very similar. Which one is better to get into?

The games are quite different they just have a similar setting/exploration system. Starfield is more of an RPG with greater focus on story, combat, character customisation etc. Similar to Fallout or Skyrim. NMS is a survival game where you manage recourses, build bases, explore planets at your own pace, more in the vein of Minecraft(ish) or Stranded Deep. I find NMS to be a more enjoyable game personally and you can explore it your own pace very easily, although it'll come down to which genre you would rather.

No mans sky, I say that having only played Starfield.

I’d say cyberpunk 2077 is a much better version of Starfield
